shani-i definately hear ya.

only problem is...i've already seen drs 3 times, and it was hard getting them to say yes to the third time-how am i EVER going to let me see it again for a FOURTH time? (i wanna see mylinda, jonathan, AND rachel) lol

I'm tirred. And unpretty but I don't care b/c I'm tired.

In brief, got up way too early but successfully got color purple rush tickets, spent lotsa time in the car, doing puzzles/napping, went to see Rent's final showing in NYC, very emotional, met my friend for dinner, saw CP, etc. CP was amazing...I talk about it on the "Color Purple=Amazing thread" (shocking.) Def a show where I think god this is why I love theatre.

Oh, and a little bit more tidbits. One of Joanna's outfits is totally new, not the army/incognito one...something about jewelry being all different so it likely could be her first costume. And someone confirmed this on the main board, but the entire "section" of John and Norb going back and forth during that scene is out, just John and Mylinda. Umm, a couple of line changes of course, couple in the beginning...yeah, but once again basically told there are a lot of changes, but I would call it a lot for noticing them all, so it may be that there are lots of changes, but none of them as huge as like Norbert not being in the box, maybe a different word here or there. I shall see, still excited. Oh, also this was funny b/c I actually asked what's happening in the following weeks aobut something totally unrelated to DRS but it was thought that I asked about DRS so out of the confusion, the press comes to rereview the show w/ Jonathan in 3 weeks.

I feel like I have more to say...but I'm tired. Annie, what did you mean by positive/negative ways? I didn't get that.

I loved Yazbek's hat btw.

Yay. My friend at work loves the movie, The Color Purple. So we were talking about our favorite parts, and I brought up one of the scenes towards the end of the movie, where Sophia and all of them were at the dinner table. Then she proceedes to do the entire scene from memory! With all the character voices, even! I laughed my butt off. I pre-ordered the cast recording, I'm def. burning it for her.

I just meant Amanda, that we Hungarians are not very optimistic (well except me of course) about thing and future (no wonder the whole country is a piece of ****). And that is why even our expressions sounds negative.

Thanks for the info Amanda. These new tidbits will certainly make seeing DRS for the 9th time (gasp!) a lot of fun. Spot the differences!

Oh and I had a chance to see the Wicked cast. Fantasic! Carol Kane, Eden, and Megan are the reasons to go now more than anything. Derrick Williams made a great new Fiyero (though I still perfer David more, Derrick's voice was more deeper like Norberts so DTL and ALAYM sounded more forceful) and seeing a different Nessarose for a change was a treat. All in all, go check them out if you have a chance. There is one thing that bothers me still however. That is Wayne Cilanto (sp I know)'s choreography. Aren't he and Jerry Mitchell students of Fosse? Why was Jerry able to craft the superb choreography for DRS (why didnt he win the Tony????) while Wayne's 'choreography is so...lacking in Wicked?

I'm bummed that I'll be seeing Hearn as the wizard for the 3rd time, I was looking forward to seeing another Wizard for once, especially Vereen...
