thanks barb, if you're reading this, for adding that little bit extra to the slideshow.

Yup, cheaper gas, plus they pump it for you! Here, we hafta pay more if we want them to pump it for us. Lotsa ppl here go drive to Jersey for gas, it accumulates in saving a lot if you always do it.

When I drive between Albany (where I am) and DC (where my boyfriend is) I always stop for gas in NJ even though my car can make it on one tank. I end up saving $. And it's nice to be able to stay in your car in the winter.

*sneaks in* Boo! *shifty eyes* Yes, I'm here for once, though I once again forgot about the webcam even though I was home most of the day. However, I think Greg just inspired me for my animation class. I couldn't think of an idea for my semester project (which we need for class today), but I was just listening to "Chimp In A Suit" and figured "Heck, why don't I animate that with a cartoon chimp?". We'll see what my prof says :) The idea is growing on me...

Not even sure if this IS Andrew Asnes:

But, it's taken from this when I googled:

My brother is currently at Dartmouth and my dad is an alum, so I found this most interesting (even if its not about the Andre we know)

page 2 guys! not good.

ahhh, i do remember that! scary times.

nothing new here.

I do have a story that I think is interesting. at my college, to be part of the theatre group on campus (called the Mermaid Players), you have to earn 60 points by doing productions. and the breakup of the points are like this:

Stage manager: 25 points
Ass. Stage manager: 20 points
Tech: 15 points
acting: 10 points

well, I have done props on two shows and have been put as props for two other productions. and one of my senior friends said that she found it funny that I am becoming a player (mermaid that is) by just doing props. I have done other little things but those are th main ones, and it is sort of funny. My goal is to get about 100 before I official become a Mermaid player. Think I can do it?

btw, how is everyone else?

Good morning The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread

Hopefully tonight I will be seeing an amazing concert/discussion on the integration and influence of classical music(lotsa chamber/instrumental music) on bway, and chamber works by bway composers...I figured it wouldn't be sold out so I could get cheap tickets at the box office today but god am I gonna kill myself if it is...

Dre, told you this, but finally got your holiday card, thanks I'm looking forward to seeing John's last show in January too The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread (I shouldn't really taunt you for taking a while to send stuff...you know there's stuff I've been lazy about sending...but I'm sending them today!)

And umm, don't know why i don't have more to say...odd *shrug*

Wake me up before you go go...

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

Hey guys! I just got back from the Music Festival. There are these solos in this song, and she asked anyone who wanted to try out to stand in a line and we all got number or w/e. There were 40 kids.. I was number 15. So I tried out and...

*drumroll please*

Got it!

It was great. My chorus teacher (who hates me) was impressed.

Nope, I'm watching "Dancing with the Stars." As a former ballroom dance instructor, I always find it an interesting experience.

I did watch most of HS Musical the other day though.

Yes Dre, I finally did send what you think I sent. I can't wait too! (that's not proper grammar...oh well)

Ohh, can't believe I forgot to tell you guys this story from yesterday. So yeah, my Eng. teacher is a big theatre fan and she was introducing Oedipus(friggin 4th time I gotta read this for school), which led to a discussion of drama/theatre in general, w/ me in the room touched a lot on current theatre. Hehe. At one point, we were talking about how the Greek plays were hours and hours while shows now are hardly more than 3 hours. But here's what's funny...

Then my teacher says but you know while that's the case, she goes to operas a lot and operas are rarely under 3 hours...then she says in fact, if you go to like a Wagner Opera that's really long it's like over 5...actually about 6 hours.

OMG...I burst out laughing...got weird looks from everyone.

Amanda - Did you tell her those Wagner operas are best if you can listen to them while having sex and eating bacon?

Dre - I want to thank you so much for that beautiful card! I lost my best friend last month to cancer. She and I both loved those old fashioned cards - the ones with lots of glitter on them. We would search card shops all over to find them and send them to each other. When I opened this card and saw all those darling snowmen (which are my favorite Christmas characters!) and all that beautiful glittery snow, I immediately thought of her! I can't thank you enough. It's going to sit here over my desk for the rest of the year.

Haha, after class I planned to ask/tell her about the DRS joke but I got delayed by someone who mentioned seeing Wicked, asked me if I saw it, etc. and then we got to talking, she saw how into Bway I am and the resources and such at my disposal, and she got so excited, took my phone number, wants to see a show w/ me, etc so by the time I said bye to her, the teacher was gone. Oh well.

Actually, I really should give her some kind of...like...way to realize just how far into this I am and see how far she actually wants to go...hmm...

Aww Dre, did you choose diff. cards for each of us? That's great! The doggie was adorable! And I loved the crossing out of "Merry Christmas" The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread

It's the first day of research and I'm already done. Rent has taught me a lot about AIDS/HIV that I didn't realize.

Anyways, I'll talk to you guys when I get home. :)

Oh NLBOnline Flash is up and I took off the mp3s, replacing them with links instead. That reduced the site's MB size from 70 MB to 2 MB lol so it should load okay for all you 56k people.
