I'm just curious as to what you all do for a workout.
Walk downstairs to get ices/ice cream. Walk upstairs. Lift spoon to mouth many times. Walk to garbage to throw ices/ice cream away.
Well at least you've got the stairs, Fair Lady. I have someone trained to get the ice cream for me. But, I will say, the changing of television channels while I'm eating the ice cream wears me out!

Ooh...I've tried that routine too many times.

Everyday I go play basketball on my driveway and do running drills with my friends. My mom and I like to go the gym a lot and lift weights. I also do karate twice a week.
I go to the gym at night when I have time. Because of multiple joint problems, I'm pretty much left with the elliptical and bikes as my only options.
Since school started I no longer have a self workout plan, so it's whatever I do in horrid freshman gym. Possibly running another 2 miles on the track this Thursday...tomorrow I expect to have the deal with the typical fallacies of the "physical fitness unit"...push ups, cruches, mountain climbers, and sprints, yay! I wished we ran more. I still can't do a real push up. Damn lack of upper body strength. Atleast I'll be in great shape come soccer season! WHOOOO! Let's not mention my embarassing 9 minute mile.

9 minutes for 1 mile? Jeez- thats fast!
Well, actually I think I did 1 mile in 7.4 minutes in high school but just yesterday I did a walk for "Women in Distress" and that was 5 miles and I did it with my friend in 2 hours. I mean, we were walking so I guess that counts for a lot of it. Plus, it was 7:00am. But I just figured that was 24 minutes per mile...meh- whatever...I wasn't doing it for time.
You too can pay 35$ to walk 5 miles at 7:00am. Meh- it wasn't bad...it was for a good cause and then I came home and took a 4 hour nap. Also, I got a shirt out of it...lol
On the 15th of October, I think my friend and I are going to do the Breast Cancer Walk.
Good job for those excersizers!!

Chicken - my wife teaches a 6:00 class that would kill you and me - take the Metra into the city!
I've started back exercising--mostly cardio stuff like tae bo and aerobics. I also do that Richard Simmons Tone N Sweat that works out your muscles. I may add some Pilates into the mix.
Right now I am doing 6 days a week of one of the above activities. I wanna look perty for Jerby: Fully Loaded
Swimming, and other sports. No real workout program though. Not that I shouldn't, I just don't!

I was doing an hour on the crosstrainer 6 days a week but since I started student teaching last month I haven't been able to get back into a real regular routine.
I have 90 minutes of ballet once a week, and that's about it right now.
5 days a week in the mornings.
Day one-Chest and Back(sucks the most)
Day two-Biceps and Tri's
Day Three-Cardio(5 miles on the treadmill_
Day Four-Shoulders
Repeat and rest on weekends to drink.
Sex on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rinse and Repeat.

Cross Country after school 5 days a week. Running close to 2 miles a day keeps me in shape!
Does picking up a cast recording and putting it in the cd player count?

I try to work out only 3-5 days a week and depending on the look - I either do no areobics or areobics only in the morning and only there times a week...
If you want muscles:
work out HARD only for 45 -50 minutes - anything after that is a waste as a chemical begins to form in your body that disables any future muscle gains that day...
Do chest/tricep on one day
do back/bicep on one day
do legs on one day
do neck shoulders on one day.
and that's it! REST is a major key to growth...
Drink protein (at least 25-35 grams)BEFORE your workout and RIGHT AFTER your workout....and at least two other times during the day (yogurt for breakfast or eggs/chicken for lunch)..
on non workout day - drink a protein shake, eat some chicken - do not abandon your workout food on days off...
Anthony, are you really the one who should be giving out workout advice?
I mean, we all saw the picture of you with your shirt off and it wasn't pretty.
PS. Why do you have a photo of three men holding a bald ventriloquist dummy as your icon?
...or just have sex every day. it's much more fun than lifting weights, plus you're bound to work every major muscle area if you experiment.
Marquise, do you do personal training?
