"Here is the source for the BE sit down

'At some point early next year we expect to open the show in San Francisco'"
That doesn't confirm a sitdown...and it barely confirms it will play San Francisco. So much can change it such a short time. It can merely be the launch of the tour.
Wait... I am confused! So 9 to 5 is or isn't confirmed??
I wish ROA would not do the sit down on the west coast. It's not written in stone anywhere, yet. Why not Cleveland? lol of course because that is where I am. Cleveland does have some beautiful theaters downtown.
I suppose LA would make sense since it's set there anyway.

Cleveland IS the city of rock and roll, what with the Rock hall...plus, I also live there, and would love to see this...
As a Clevelander I think we need some sort of sit down production or out of town (here of course) to help out theaters economy but anyway anyone know about the upcoming Young Frankenstein tour... cast or equity... anything?

I'm from Cleveland and I second that! Don't we have the largest theater district outside of New York City?? We really need to have a show stay here for a while. The theaters are incredible and I love the looks of the upcoming season. I hope N2N stops in Cleveland for 10/11 as well!
I hope N2N will tour to the Seattle area. I totally missed it when it flew under my radar as "Feeling Electric" at Village Theatre. And I'm slowly becoming obsessed over the cast recording.
I also didn't know that Ben Schrader was the son (Gabe) for a reading of the show in New York with Anthony Rapp. I went to high school with him, and we did a bunch of shows together in high school (where I was stage crew). "Small world, isn't it?"
Oh good to see all the Clevelanders here! Yes Cleveland has the one of the best theater districts in the country. Those beautiful theaters have had many sit down productions in the past. I think it's time again.
When they use the term "mini-tour", I assume they mean the tour would only be hitting a select few major markets (i.e. Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.)

Little Mermaid is next on the list.

Yes, I do believe Cleveland is the second largest theatre district in the country, after NYC. We actually have great theatres and tend to snag virtually every tour out there.

^ I think Chicago is the second largest theatre district. It would be nice to see a sit down that's NOT LA, Toronto, San Fransisco, or Chicago.
^^^
Actually no. As surprising as it is, it is very true. Cleveland has the 2nd largest theater complex in the United States.

I am really excited to see these shows on tour for '10/'11. I think the list of shows blows away next year's list of touring shows.

That's so surprising! Wow, I didn't know that.

Can we update the list?
Looks like another tour wants to consider kicking off in Chicago.. What show do you think it is?
What show...

9 to 5 says on their website that national touring dates will be announced soon. 9to5musical.com
I'm thinking that one of the wicked tours will be closed or they will use one of the extra sets (they have two sets for every production on tour to set up in advance) to create another sit down. I'm guessing somewhere in Texas/Florida area, or up in the midwest. Hmm.
I would say AT LEAST 6 months before 9to5 dates are announced & 9 months AT LEAST before a cast is.

Chicago Star,
I somehow get the feeling that it's HAIR. Rock of Ages will most probably kick of in the West End, so HAIR is one of the final candidates.
