Fun to watch the red carpet show on Facebook live right now. Just caught Marianne Elliott and Patti Lupone interviewed by Frank Dilella about their upcoming collaboration on Company. Interesting.

Can we watch the event live now? The red carpet ended on Facebook Live. The ceremony looks like it is starting?
I guess we have to wait until 5:30 to watch it taped on their Facebook page, here in the US?

I despise how they cover the Oliviers in the UK.. They only air a highlights show on tv HOURS after the ceremony ends (10:30pm UK time). It's ridiculous and makes me appreciate the Tonys so much more.

I didn't get to see Network, but based on what I heard, I have an extremely hard time believing he was more deserving than both Andrew Garfield and Andrew Scott, both of whom delivered beyond brilliant performances.
Sam Mendes (The Ferryman) beats both Tommy Kail and Marianne Elliot for Best Director.
Angels wins Best Revival.
God--Bryan Cranston chewed the scenery in the absolute worst way in Network.
LMM and Alex Lacamoire win Achievement in Music.
Blankenbuehler wins Choreography.
Hamilton's Michael Jibson (King George III) wins Supporting Actor in a Musical.
Girl from the North Country's Sheila Atim wins Supporting Actress in a Musical, beating out Rachel John as Angelica Schuyler.
Girl from the North Country's Shirley Henderson wins Actress in a Musical, beating out both leading ladies from Follies.

I knew that it was going to Hamilton's night but, I wish they give something to, Everybody is Talking About Jamie. It was an enjoyable show when I saw it a few months back.
Happy they didn’t reward Imelda and those awful keys she used in FOLLIES.
