Andy Karl will be playing a new character written specifically for the stage version (a love interest for either Judy or Violet, not sure which.)
Gaelen Gilliland (of LEGALLY BLONDE) will be a swing and also cover Stephanie Block and/or Megan Hilty.
Jessica Lea Patty (current Cassie alternate in A CHORUS LINE) is going to be in the ensemble, as is Lisa Howard (currently in SOUTH PACIFIC and formerly of SPELLING BEE...)
I'm not sure about Howard, but I believe Patty is understudying one of the leads as well.

I had heard that Andy was gonna be in this too. Good thing, 'cause he is great!
I'm psyched for this show. I've never seen the movie, but I LOVE the cast.

Yes, Andy Karl is confirmed. :) He listed 9 to 5 in his bio at a workshop I recently attended. From what I understand, he will be playing some kind of love interest (kind of a Kyle in Legally Blonde-esque character) to Allison Janney's part.
