A Life Worthy of Musicalization

Hey All -
So, my latest pet project is to pen a show based on 'the story of a life'. I pose the question: "If you could choose one person (or) pairing/group of persons who's life/lives you'd want to see musicalized, who would it be?" With ROAD SHOW taking shape as of late, and so much happening in the world today, I feel greatly inspired to throw my hat in the ring and spin a tale of my own - Be it a historically based, modern marvel, whomever. My friends, I welcome any and all suggestions. Many thanks!
Best,
- Mike

Give it a couple of years, and I think Obama might be worthy...
As a straight male into theater, I can't help but think Hugh Hefner's life would make for a hell of a musical...

Posted: 11/18/08 at 6:38pmI still think there is a good production waiting to be found using Marilyn Monroe's life. I know there was already a musical about her, but it was less than stellar and didn't do her fascinating life justice.

My sister and I have been working on one about Aaron Burr that's a parody of Sweeney Todd.
He did some CRAZY things, not just the duel with Hamilton.

Posted: 11/18/08 at 7:31pmThe life of Mrs Roxy. The poor woman is attactive, intelligent and articulate. Unfortunately she's married to a man who is a complete disappointment in every aspect of his being. I shake my head in sorrow every time I think of what a vibrant life she COULD be having.

Disappointment?
Don't speak of yourself so harshly. You have to have some redeeming value although off the top of my head I cannot think of any.
