Anybody know of any? I remember reading someplace that Gregg Edelman has been nominated four times but not won, and I was interested in performers who've been nominated two or more times and not won yet. Anyone?
Marin Mazzie has been nominated 3 times with no wins. (Passion, Ragtime, and Kiss Me Kate)
Stephen Schwartz is another, I believe...
EDIT - you want actors/actresses, so I guess he doesn't matter to you. He only has six nominations and zero wins.

Dana Ivey has 4 noms, zero wins.
Daphne Rubin-Vega has two noms and no wins.

Dee Hoty
3 nominations, no wins:
Will Rogers Follies
Best Little Whorehouse goes public (sympathy?)
Footloose
Elaine Stritch was nominated 4 times and never won, she finally won a Tony for her one-woman show, but never won in a Best Actress or Featured Actress Category.
I love Gregg Edelman. He needs to win one of these days :)
Tim Curry...three nominations ("Amadeus", "My Favorite Year" and this year for "Spamalot"). No wins as yet, and not likely to get one this year, either. I just hope there will be a "next time".
Judy Kuhn has three, for Chess, Les Misérables, and She Loves Me.
John McMartin has five - Into the Woods, Show Boat, Don Juan, High Society, and Sweet Charity.
I love Gregg Edelman and hope he wins too.

Tovah Feldshuh - 4 noms
Sarava
Yentl
Lend Me A Tenor
Golda's Balcony
Victor Garber - 4 noms I believe and no wins
Audra? Are you serious? How about best actress in '94 for Carousel, featured actress in '96 for Master Class, and best actress in '98 for Ragtime?
Harvey won best actor in '83 for Torch Song Trilogy (which also won best play for him) and then he won for writing the book for La Cage in '84. Of course the most recent win was his best actor win in 2003 for Hairspray.
I think they were joking, Mamie. Haha.

Notice the winking smiley in the post.
It was a joke, Mamie.
At the time I wrote that it was almost 3 am and I was in the middle of another no-sleep night. I'm surprised I could even read the words, let alone see any smileys!

boring me mamie
So Stephen Schwartz is the one snubbed most often? Anyone else currently working have more than six noms, zero wins?
Audra McDonald needs to never win another thing again.
And Marin Mazzie (The Susan Lucci of the Tony Awards) and MArc Kudisch should receive awards just for being so fabulous and amazing and graceful everytime they have to sit there and put that "I'm so happy for you" look on their face.
And CAROLEE CARMELLO, she deserves one too.

No she's not. Read the thread - there are others with more losses and no wins.

Did you really say that? *Sniff* I get so happy every time she wins.

Raul Juila was nominated 4 times, though no wins. He earned a Golden Globe award though.
I think Elieen Atkins has the same record.
