Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
I will be doing a one night reading of "Proof" as Hal, then onto "Art" as Marc.....oh the joy to be back to the straight play.....guess I can smoke once again!!!!
I"m in Fiddler on the Roof Now and Rehearsals start Saturday! :)
Ways to annoy people:
Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes.
Ask people what gender they are,or
Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)
My last show was The Secret Garden, where I played Archibald.
Next up is Ralph Devine/ Cousin Jeff in Auntie Mame, which opens this Friday.
After that, I'll be playing Jamie in The Last 5 Years, followed by Horton in Seussical.
Earlier this evening, I auditioned for either Freddie or Anatoly in Chess, but I won't know if I get that or not until sometime next week. If I do, that will come between TL5Y and Seussical.
And somewhere in the midst of all that I'm supposed to be performing a cabaret act at a local nightclub with a couple of friends that we call The Three Queer Tenors.
"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans are suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you." - Rita Mae Brown
MTRBOI24 - I know you posted this a long time ago (over a month)so are you still playing Fiyero; maybe I'm just ignorant, and everyone else on this sight knows who you are, but what production of Wicked are you in?
Did any of the Wicked obsessees realize that a celebrity was in the house when you posted a message a month in a half ago, or am I just making a fool of myself, and MTRBOI24 was just "yankin' my chain." and really was just kidding about the whole Fiyero thing.
Well, I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself, so anyway, if you really are Fiyero, MTRBOI24, congratulations on the fabulous role
(to answer the thread, I just finished a run as Tulsa in a civic theatre production of Gypsy, and right before that, Ren in a production of Footloose)
