I didn't see a thread for this but they posted Alice Ripley's Ask a Star video on Broadway.com. (Whatever happened to Matt Cavenaugh doing one?)

For the most part, those questions were awful. And really awkward. I groaned when I saw the {title of show} one. Honestly, when you have someone as eloquent as Alice, give her good questions because she's sure to have a great answer. Whatever, she was still great.
However, the best part of that was easily when she started belting out Rainbow High.

Posted: 5/29/09 at 7:39pmAlice is wonderful. I thought some of the questions were a bit bizarre, but her answers were great--especially the story about her first kiss!

Posted: 5/29/09 at 7:52pmWas my question odd? I just asked about high school theater

Posted: 5/29/09 at 7:52pm"are you facebook friends with emily skinner?" dumbest question ever. i love alice ripley ahh
re: Alice Ripley's Ask a Star#6
Posted: 5/29/09 at 7:54pmThe questions were mostly lame, but her answers were good.
re: Alice Ripley's Ask a Star#7
Posted: 5/29/09 at 7:57pmdg, your question was perfectly fine. It was the "facebook friends" and "getting naked" stuff that was a bit, well, odd.

Posted: 5/29/09 at 10:29pmSome of these questions are so random.

Posted: 5/29/09 at 10:37pmShe didn't come out the night I went there! and I really want a hug from her now!
re: Alice Ripley's Ask a Star#19
Posted: 5/29/09 at 10:49pmWhat the hell. She didn't answer with more than 3 sentences, they asked a million questions because she wouldn't give long story-telling answers. What the hell was with that freakin question on the Golden Girls. Even SHE thought that was retarded. Did anyone notice that she made the exact same facial expression and body movements she makes when she performs 'I Miss the Mountains'.

The more I see this lady the more I love her.
And she was right about the Golden Girls question. That was ridiculous.

Some of those questions were simply ridiculous (and I don't mean the couple that certain people on this thread said were theirs, those were good. I hated the GOLDEN GIRLS question as much as she did, and I thought the ROCKY HORROR naked question was so inappropriate it's like, why did they even include that?
And "is Emily Skinner your facebook friend?"! Seriously! We asked Ms.Ripley that question? She's done TOMMY, SUNSET BLVD (the only question re this show was about the f-ing set), SIDE SHOW (considered one of the best flops of Broadway), LES MIZ (did we really need a Susan Boyle question?), LITTLE FISH, and is now doing NEXT TO NORMAL. There were so many more interesting questions to ask her than whether she's facebook friends with Emily Skinner.
