Amanda Peet or Cynthia Nixon?

I have an interesting question.I am headed to New York City tommorrow night to see Ring of Fire.Since I will get there a few hours early, I was thinking of trying to meet and mabye get an autograph from either Amanda Peet at Barefoot or Cynthia Nixon at Rabbit Hole(Since I love both actresses so much!).I was hoping to hear about anyone's experiences with either so I can decide which I should try to meet(or if I would just be wasting my time on either).

i agree. meet cynthia. i walked by Rabbit Hole one Sunday afternoon as Cynthia was walking out of the stage door and she was signing and taking pictures with everyone who asked. She seemed really nice.

Cynthia Nixon, 100%. I've only had excellent experiences with her (sweetheart x20), and she tends to come out after matinees. Amanda Peet, however, does not come out after matinees and has the personality of a fish that has been dead and eaten. However, if you had gotten largely negative reviews all around, maybe you'd be that way, too....

RABBIT HOLE is a better show on the whole and cynthia does wonderful work. amanda is miscast in BAREFOOT (among other concerns) if you want to see her, just hang at the stage door after the show but go see RABBIT HOLE. you can do both.

Amanda is super nice, but there is usually a lot more people at the stage door of Barefoot, so that's why she doesn't have that much time to take pics and stuff, anyhow, i don't support not seeing the show and stage door actors. I think you need to see the show to get to talk to the actor. Just my thought.

Cynthia is probably more accessible. I believe Amanda has a bodyguard/escort type person with her when she leaves the theater. so Cynthia is probably the way to go. She is really cool too!

Amanda has no bodyguard/escort, just a driver. Most stage doors have the security person who makes sure nobody gets in the actor's face. Rightfully so....I sure as hell wouldn't want some random creepy person....well, lets not go there.

I have never met either of them.
If I were you I would make a trip to The Color Purple. Felicia Fields is one of the nicest women on the planet.

I have met them both (Amanda after THIS IS HOW IT GOES and Cynthia after RABBIT HOLE). Cynthia was an absolute doll and Amanda was personality-free. Do Cynthia.

To all those who advised me to go and meet Cynthia Nixon....Good Call.She was so nice when I met her last night.I hope to go into detail about my whole night in NYC later today.And for the person who said I should go see the shows to meet the stars, I will now be going to see both Rabbit Hole and Barefoot in the Park in the near future.One question though: Is Amanda Peet scheduled to be in Barefoot through June?That is when I will probably go to see it.

When I visited New York in March I met both women after seeing their shows. Both were fine, signed an autograph and posed for a photo with me.

Cynthia Nixon. My Grandma works at a cofee place a few blocks down from "Rabbit Hole" and after I saw Chicago for the first time my mom dragged me over to go and tell my Grandma how much I loved Chicago, she loves hearing from me. While I was sitting down at a booth all bored an tired in walks Cynthia Nixon. I kinda screamed. She started laughing. Thank G-d I had a camera and a silver sharpie with me. She was soo nice about taking a picture with me, we took like 4 together. The 2st two of them were normal, but the last 2 weren't: we took a picture that looked like we were doing some sort of trible dance. And the last one she was sticking her tounge out at the camera and I looked completly drunk.

I had to leave after an hour to catch my train so I wouldn't miss my best friend's bat-mitzvah.

My Grandma called me on my cell a few minutes later and told me Cynthia left. She told my Grandma that I was such a sweetheart.

She was nice to me too, but she was in a hurry, both Amanda and Cynthia were very friendly though, can you post those pics? Im dying to see them!
