I wish COMPANY were one of those shows that ran for a few seasons at least just because it'd be interesting to see different takes of Bobby, Joanne, and Amy in this particular Doyle style. Neil Patrick Harris as Bobby for example or Bebe Neuwirth as Joanne...delicious. Either way, it's good to know the show is not in any kind of financial trouble.
I think PIRATE QUEEN is probably the next new show to close.

Posted: 3/8/07 at 12:06pmTraaagic. He's charming and all that but..... aaaah. I mean, I truly don't think the show will last that long, but maybe getting a big star would push them to run it longer. And along the selfish lines we're clearly running today, I'd rather see it close than see that happen. I don't think Stamos is even devoid of talent, but it's just such a step down.

Oh I agree with you Emcee totally, I just forsee it. His stint on ER isn't permanent. He's just in a few episodes as I understand it. Norbert would make an incredible Bobby, I don't know why I didn't think of that, but yeah he would be great!
I may get shot for this, but would anyone buy Taye as Bobby or is he just too young, don't ask why my mind went there cause I have no clue either.

Hmmm. I like Norbert. A lot. And he's very versatile, but I don't really see it. I'm not sure why. I'm horrible at coming up with my own casting ideas, so I just judge the ideas of others.

Perhaps Neil Patrick Harris could play Bobby while How I Met Your Mother is on hiatus...just wishful thinking, he's just a great actor (not to mention incredibly sexy), and he's also very different to Esparza and curiously enough they share some roles.
I still think Bebe Neuwirth would be a killer Joanne though not too different from Walsh.

I don't quite see it (Taye) either, but not because he's too young. I think he's a much more talented actor than people give him credit for, actually.
NPH looks a lot like Fred Rose. That amuses me.

I've said SPELLING BEE should close since around last March.
It's slight hype is finally dying down and its having a hard time selling seats.
It'll be gone by the summer.
