If so, please tell me all about it. Are Kristin and Idina featured in it? What are some of the features? Oh, to hell with it, just give me the table of contents. I can't get the book until I have the money.

can't you see the table of contents at amazon.com, or barnesandnoble.com?

I think they show tables of content sometimes

Is it available yet? Last time I was on amazon.com, it said it wasn't released and there wasn't a date as to when it would be released.

Well, strangely, amazon.com says that it ships in 2 to 3 days, but the release date says "October 26, 2005."

Yeah, I got mine at Barnes and Noble a few days ago. It's a great book. It features the OBC, as well as the current Broadway cast and the touring company. It has lots of pictures and and info from the creators and cast members. There are a lot of fun little things in it like choreography, personality quizes, fan letters, ect. It definitely worth the money.

Pillowpants. 'Nuff said.

Yes, I can confirm. I called my B&N this morning and they have them. Even out here in the sticks.

My B&N here in Studio City didn't have it when I passed by there yesterday. Maybe the lady just didn't know how to look it up. Oh well, I'll check again this week if I can.

Mine called me a couple of hours ago and said they got them. I just picked mine up. ITS HUGE, but it has so many wonderful pictures (lots of steph ^___^). I love it!

I work in a indie bookstore, and I knew the 26th was the realease date, but my distributor had them listed as "In Stock". I placed the order this morning. I'll get mine in Wednesday.

I thought I was getting one over, but if B&N already has them on their shelves, I guess not. re: Anyone get the Wicked Grimmerie Yet?

I've read that it also contains the libretto. Is this true?

No. It contains an abridged libretto. All of the songs are there, but a lot of dialogue is missing.

My local B&N has it as well.

It's $40.

..... a rip-off, if you ask me.

Are the pix the old pix that everyone has seen or are some of them new?

Looks like this book included many Joan Marcus photos that are previously unreleased. I don't have mine yet but it should be here within a few days. In all honesty, how could the publisher fill a book this size and not have some new photos for us to gawk at?

You know, honestly, there are not very many new pics. I am not really diappointed, I love the cover and the layout. They gave equal coverage to the three Elphabas, the three G(a)lindas and the three Fiyeros. I am impressed by that. (Of course, I wanted more Idina, but whatever...lol)

Does it contain the lyrics to "Wicked Witch of the East"?

Not the original song, but if you want the very short thing Nessa says while Elphaba is casting the spell...

Save him-please, just save him/My poor Boq, my sweet, my brave him/Don't leave me/Till my sorry life has ceased.../Alone and loveless here/With just the girl in the mirror/Just her and Me-/The Wicked Witch of the East!/We deserve each other...

Wow, after reading those lyrics, I really realized how great the lyrics to some of the songs in this show are. Too bad WWOTE wasn't recorded.
