The rumor I heard was “Maybe Happy Ending” which really confused me as to why they’d do that to themselves after the last time. So that’s probably not true. Maybe. I dunno.

The photo is taken in a recording studio, so I doubt it’s any kind of replacement casting.

Yes, his wikipedia bio suggests that he might be ok with the Outrage Police, who have yet to exactly reveal their policy on what is Acceptable Casting for Maybe Happy Ending and what is White Supremacy. So its unclear if his Cambodian and/or Tahitian heritage allows him to play a robot living in Korea. 

Id much rather see him in something new anyway (and as Kad points out, hes recording something, not rehearing something...)

Andrew Lippa is at the center of the photo, and the photo is taken at Power Station recording studio. So without any further searching on Google or social media, it's probably a new show (or concept album, or song cycle) that we haven't heard of.

Maybe he'll replace Helen.  That way they can avoid any controversy recasting the male lead.

The rumor is that he's replacing Darren Criss in May. This time though, the people who bitch about the casting will be immediately shut down and completely ignored, as they always should've been. It would be fantastic casting.
