I think Sherie should have walked into the audience during one of her songs and smacked that lady with one of her tenticles
Haha...that would make a funny story!

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Posted: 6/1/08 at 2:42pmThat is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. It's no wonder some kids today find being disruptive okay, because they see their parents doing it. It makes me sad. That woman should have been escorted out of the theater, not only for her daughter's sake and other adults around, but for other children too. Some people may think that their behavior has no impact on children they don't know, but really it does.

"House staff members are useless."
A ridiculous and sweeping generalization from Wanna Be A Foster.

Posted: 6/1/08 at 4:45pmWhen I saw the show a couple of months ago, I had someone's child (maybe 3 or so years old) running up and down one of the center aisles in the orchestra. Back and forth, back and forth from maybe row P to the stage. It was so distracting I think I watched the child more than the 2nd act of the show! I looked back a couple of time to see what her parents were doing and they were just smiling at her as if it was the cutest behavior ever! Ushers never came around once...

It's a good thing jazzicat wasn't at that performance. She'd have walked out and would be weeping like the Trevi Fountain.

I thought this was considered acceptable behavior at a Disney show.

Posted: 6/1/08 at 6:02pmTrap-Door: They now have student rush available when the box office opens. It seems to have been really easy to get them. I went around 9 am last Wednesday and was the first one there. I think they are selling front row too. Tickets are $25.

Trapdoor, that is an unfortunate name to be blogging under on this particular show.
As soon as the mother dropped the FBomb, she should have been ushered out.

Posted: 6/1/08 at 6:21pmEven though I don't use my phone during a show I'd have made an exception in this case. I'd have called the police myself and reported her for disturbing the peace and endangering the welfare of a child. Like other posters have said - imagine her leading that child around the city at night after the show while under the influence. Or worse - what if they had driven into the city and parked in one of the nearby garages? Imagine them driving home.
