"I finally figured out how to let the credits roll without getting cut off 5 seconds in."
Please tell me your credits rolling secret, oh wise one!
This season is really great. Bustin' Out still keeps autoplaying in my head and I appreciate how they're really using Jane and Kristin this year!
When the credit screen gets smaller and goes to the upper right hand corner press the back button (arrow pointing left) and it will go full screen again and play the rest of the credits. This is how I do it with Roku but should work with other remotes.

What a great episode! And it really makes you wonder why Krakowski’s never been Roxie. Or why Cumming’s never been Sweeney. Or why Cheno has never been Hannigan or Lovett."
That’s the first thing I thought about - why has she never been Roxie?! I wish they had cast her in the movie over Zellweger. I would absolutely see Chicago again if they could get her to do a limited run. She is absolutely stealing the show this year - so far.

Christopher Gattelli has done a stellar, step-by-step breakdown of his delightful dances in ''Schmigadoon's'' Season 2, Episode 1 of ''Welcome to Schmicago.'' He offers backstage stories and rehearsal footage, and his eye for detail and his dancers' dedication are astonishing. Gattelli got his first Emmy nomination for Season 1, and it already looks like he deserves an Emmy win for Season 2.

Episode 4 is really sweet!
I’m starting to like the echo of Johanna that Dove’s character has.
Cumming and Chenoweth + that “Little Priest” meets “Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” pastiche = DELICIOUS.
“Schmigadoon!”’s musical game has always been on point, but I find it pretty wild that this week’s episode is called “Something Real” and the cast album of Almost Famous happens to release this week as well (there’s a song from the show with that same title).
Episode 4 was the weakest for me. It just wasn’t as engaging as the first 3.
Is this the right place to start a petition for Cumming/Chenoweth to replace Groban/Ashford in Sweeney? It would be bizarre, but it would be fascinating!
I think this season just keeps topping itself. Between Krakowski’s big number last week and Cumming and Chenoweth’s this week- wow.

When Chenoweth showed up as Codwell, I realized that this was the Glinda to Lovett pipeline that we deserve but not the one we got. I think they'd both be absolutely brilliant in the roles and if the producers of Sweeney are not actively courting at least one of them, I'd be very surprised. I don't know if Cumming would be able to cope with the role's vocal demands without transposition, but....this is one of the rare cases where I genuinely don't care.

I love season two -- this show is a total blast.
Oddly enough, as deft and hilarious as Cinco Paul's Sondheim parodies are, they've given me a greater appreciation of how hard it is to write a Sondheim song. Paul is great, but (especially with the dense rhyming) he can't help feeling awkward and slightly unnatural in places, in ways Sondheim never does... I know to compare any songwriter to Sondheim is unfair, and it's a whole lot better than most anybody else can do. Not an insult at all to Paul -- just a new dimension to my appreciation of SS.

''Good Enough to Eat'' also includes nods to ''Bye Bye Birdie'' and ''Chicago.''
I'll be very surprised if Cinco Paul, Christopher Gattelli and Christopher Willis don't get repeat Emmy nominations for Season 2. And I hope this time, ALL 3 win.
And I hope 5-time Emmy nominee Jane Krakowski wins for her ''Bells and Whsitles.''
Season 2 Episode 5. I loved the wink to Promises, Promises and I thought Strong handled the nod to Maybe This Time quite well.

This was probably my least favorite episode in this season- felt like a lot of setting things up before the finale next week- but there was still a lot to enjoy. Loved the turn into parodying Jesus Christ Superstar - especially the riff on that infamous "jaded mandarin" lyric.

Spot-on. I liked the “Heaven on Their Minds” and Promises, Promises send-ups, but otherwise, I felt shortchanged.

Part of it is the storyline which has not set itself up for a thrilling conclusion. It is secondary.

I first felt it was more like "Nobody Does It Like Me" than "Maybe This Time".

The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive report that an Emmy rule change probably will affect ''Schmigadoon's'' chances to win, and it could be for the better. Season 1 competed in Outstanding Comedy, but it couldn't crack it because the category was so competitive with tons of shows, like ''Ted Lasso,'' ''Abbott Elementary,'' ''Barry,'' ''Hacks,'' ''The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,'' ''Only Murders in the Building,'' etc.
Now, Season 2 will compete in a new category called Outstanding Scripted Variety Show, a much smaller field that includes ''Saturday Night Live,'' and ''Last Week Tonight With John Oliver.'' ''Schmigadoon's'' performers, like Jane Krakowski, will still be eligible in the Comedy categories, but its writers, directors, choreographers, etc., will now compete with their counterparts of variety shows, specials.
