I'm going (and also seeing HAIR that evening, ironically).
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

This is gonna be a kick ass fun Be-In Experience. We still need more votes to pass the bill in New York. Pass the word on, Facebook has a site for info. Bring Flowers like they do at Weddings. Marriage is a Civil Right! Hare Krishna.
Come because you believe in the cause--or just come to support the efforts of Gavin Creel, because he put a lot of energy into this rally and the bigger the crowd the more successful it will seem.
I so wish I could go! But the flyer has been by pic on Facebook, and here for the past week, at least supporting it a little. Tell all your friends, and best of luck to all involved!!!
"He found something that he wanted, had always wanted and always would want— not to be admired, as he had feared; not to be loved, as he had made himself believe; but to be necessary to people, to be indispensable."
-F. Scott Fitzgerald's This Side of Paradise
Cheers to the wonderful Gavin Creel for organizing this worthy event!
I'll be there tomorrow and am very excited!
"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
-bjh2114 (on Michael Riedel)
How about putting the article for the rally at the top of the front page for the day?
Just sayin'
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.
[turns and winks directly into the camera]
