So I understand Pippin has a lot of choreography. I take this to mean Michael will have to dance?

Hey guys, I'm going to get my tickets to Easter Rising soon. I think I have to go to the 7 o'clock show, but I wanna make sure you guys will be there. I know some of you are planning on both, but for those of you only doing one, which show are you going to?

Trisky,
Never mind the choreography...do you know what Pippin's wardrobe usually consists of??
I belive we're talking a mesh tank top and short pants....and occasionally just short pants!

Mesh top and short pants? I don't know whether to laugh generously or run away screaming!
I still have a slight(ly-larger than slight) complex about seeing Michael in a little brother, want to pat him on the head and pinch his cheek type way. I can't fully give myself over to "he's hot" and make head and cheek mean anything other than what polite society thinks of it because of that.
So the thought of him in short pants sort of freaks me out in a good and bad way all at once!

Can we get rid of this thread? It's too long and it keeps coming back to haunt us. I was one of the first people to see BARE and i'm a GIANT fan, dont get me wrong - but at this point it's a moot point - it's not coming back.

I'd hate to see the demise of this thread, which has grown so admirably and has created a real community.

Okay I'm feeling kind of bad (guilty?) that this thread seems to passing gently into the night.
Just wanted to mention a quick but hearty congratulations to Jenna on landing the Nessarose/Elphaba Understudy role in the Wicked tour! Please convince them to come somewhere near NYC so I can catch it because I am lazy and like my entertainment to come to me, rather than me having to travel to it by anything that requires being suspended in mid-air.
Also, I was listening to Bare for the first time in a long time, since I made my vow not to listen in anticipation of it opening *grumblesmumblesandcurses* and I had to keep stopping it because guess what? The experiment worked, it really does hit you all over again when you've deprived yourself of the sensory overload. *sigh*
Hope everyone is doing well!

Yay!! Congrats to Jenna. That's awesome.
Hm...I may have to try this experiment. Because as of right now, still listening pretty much every day. Maybe eventually I'll get the will power.

Give it a shot Jess, even with just a week. I'm re-discovering things and hearing things I hadn't heard before. It's like listening to it for the first time all over again.

Now I feel inspired. Alright, I'm in the middle of the show right now, and as soon as it finishes, no BARE for a week. I promise. You don't believe me, do you? Yeah, I don't either. But I'm going to try.
Edit: In the interest of full disclosure, I do need to say that I will have to wake up to Are You There? tomorrow, because my roommate and I have been waking up to it all year, and I don't want to freak her out with a new song without telling her ahead of time...

Wow, really? That means I might get to see her when the tour opens here in Toronto! YAY!
It is bittersweet, though, to see our beloved Bare cast move onto other projects.

Ok so i signed on today expecting to find this thread on the third or forth page and I was trieng to think of an excuse to bump it up besides the fact that I am really really anxious for December 21st! And there it was back at the top of the second page (I'll take what I can get these days) I was sooo happy and hopefully we wont let the few bad apples spoil this bunch!
Oh and congrats to Jenna, SOOOOOOO happy we will get to see her here in Michigan!

So I have a question...this is probably totally obvious, but I'm having a complete mental blanking day - is she the understudy for Nessa and Elphaba, or is she the fulltime Nessa, but understudying Elphaba?
Anyway, Trisky, these tours usually hit CT, right? That's not too far from NYC! I know if it hits southern CT, I could *definitely* go. An hour on the ferry to Bridgeport? Getting my friend, a cab driver in Bridgeport, to drive me to the show? Easy as pie.
