Any update on the rush for BEAUTIFUL? I figured it's about time I went to see it! I also figured with this rapid increase in shows beginning previews and opening maybe the rush has gotten a little easier? Any help would be appreciated!
I rushed a couple weeks ago for a weekend matinee. Annoyingly, we were out there for 3 hours before the box office opened and then the guy came out and told us there were no rush seats available. TKTS came through, though.

Ugh, I hate that. Happened to us when we tried to get SR tix in January for Matilda. It was freezing, like 2 degrees and we were in line with about 10 others for over 2 hours and then they open and tell us they weren't sold out and wouldn't be selling standing room. They were in the office too for over an hour, could've put a sign out. Is there any way to find out before sitting for all that time?
I walked by the box office this past Saturday (March 22nd.) There were two signs on the door that said no rush seats would be available for the matinee, and that there would be limited rush seats available for the evening.

They didn't have rush for a couple days last week (when they're sold out, they don't offer rush, there are no specific seats set aside) but they did have SRO. From what I'm told, if you buy SRO seats, if they have seats available at intermission they will seat you.
A friend rushed two weeks ago though on a Thursday and got there at 8:30 and was 12th in line. She got tickets.
i rushed Beautiful on friday april 4. arrived at 8:35am. No one was on line and there was a sign on the door that said "limited rush seats available". I got orchestra S11 and S13 and was more than happy with my seats! The person who arrived after me (around 9am) got seats 15 and 17, the person behind her got 19 and 21. The others who were behind her waited on line seemed to be placed in the same row, across the theater, same-ish seats.
I read on Twitter (so take it with a grain of salt) that they did not offer rush at all Saturday or Sunday, but they did sell SRO. I don't know about what time people got in line though. I imagine rush is much more likely to exist on weekdays, since their weekends have been very well sold.
I'm trying to see the show tomorrow and according to Telecharge the show is sold out. Are they still offering SRO tickets? Has anyone done standing room for this show, if so how is the view? Thanks!
I went last week while it rained. When I got there at 9a I was the third person in line which shocked me. They had 8 box seats and the rest in center mezzainine last row. Not sure how many of those there were. I guess it depends on the day you go.
Went today, got there at 9 am and sat down. 3rd in line. Then more people started showing up and then the people behind us saw a sign at about 10am saying there would be no rush tickets. The people in front of me left, so I became first in line, in hopes of standing room. When the box office opened at 12, they only gave out 4 standing room spots. Standing Room tickets were $37. They are behind the last row of the mezzanine and the view looked fine, but a few minutes before the show started a family of 4 canceled their tickets in the orchestra, so the Beautiful workers moved the 4 standing room people to the seats. They try very hard to get standing room people seats either before the show or at intermission. This is now a hot ticket, and rush wont be sold often, they only sell whats left, they don't put aside seats. They try to put a sign up the night before for the next day regarding the amount of rush tickets for the next day. :)
