Ben Platt for sure. One of the best performances I've seen in my life, not just this season. But I also want to give a shoutout to the ensemble of Hello, Dolly!

Male (Play) - Gideon Glick (Significant Other)

Male (Musical) - Jake Gyllenhaal (Sunday in the Park with George)

Andy Karl in Groundhog Day. That performance is just a masterclass in musical comedy. Him and Annaleigh Ashford would be my two.

From what I have seen (not much this season, to be honest), Laurie Metcalf in A Doll's House, Part 2 by far.

The buzz around Ben Platt makes me want to see him in Dear Evan Hansen, though I doubt I will be able to afford or time it any time soon.

Stephanie Block in Falsettos.  

Ben Platt was outstanding in DEH, and totally deserves that Tony, but I don't love the show.
