Any reports on how she was last night?
also, any reports on Sears' Cunningham??
just noticed on Nikki's twitter that she's mentions Finding Neverland at A.R.T. Is she in the cast, because they start previews July 23. Maybe she's just filling in for Syehsa for 2-3 weeks??
Very interesting! I think it would be odd for them to have someone who's never done the show fill in for such a short time, but hm.
Interestingly enough, Syesha was still in the playbill until Friday. First shows are usually on Tuesdays (I don't know anything about this; I just noticed it was slightly unusual).
A friend saw the show last night and thought both Sears and Daniels were funny and fantastic.
I heard that Syesha had her last day last Sunday, there were understudies on for her earlier in the week. Maybe Nikki was supposed to take over on Tuesday, but did not feel ready or something like that?
I do find it curious that no announcements were made about this though.
Does anyone know who is replacing Mark Evans on the 1NT cast?

You mean Mark Evans? KJ Hippensteel. http://www.conewsfeed.com/arvada/the-book-of-mormon-to-say-hello-to-detroit-july-1-13/
AJ Holmes will be Cunningham in Detroit, during Chris O'Neill's paternity leave.

LizzyCurry, what is up with that link? It reads like it was written by a crazed robot:
"Back by renouned demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, that played a record violation dual week run in 2013, earnings for a singular engagement."
"THE BOOK OF MORMON facilities set pattern by Scott Pask, [. . .] .Music instruction and outspoken arrangements are by Stephen Oremus."
"KJ HIPPENSTEEL (Elder Price) is happy to be fasten a debate of The Book of Mormon! Broadway"
"ALEXANDRA NCUBE (Nabulungi) is gay to make her inhabitant debate entrance with The Book of Mormon".
....and in other news, "a Boulder County Clerk’s bureau has begun to palm out shabby matrimony licenses to same-sex couples."

LOL! Sorry, I thought it was a mirror of another press release I saw. Here it is:

anyone know why PlaybillVault hasn't update the BOM cast list to reflect the current changes??
I'm really curious about that, too. Nikki's in the playbill and on the poster.

Re: Sears' Elder Cunnnigham – saw it on Sunday and he was truly fantastic! Hope he gets the chance to do it again. Apparently, Nyk Bielak is coming to NYC after a brief stint in the First National Tour.
Yes, he is.

Just got home and was happily surprised at how well this show has held up. Saw Ryan Bondy as Elder Price and he is amazing. Besides a few lyric changes (instead of fat white guy, it's now weird white guy and Tears of Nelson Mandela is now something else I don't remember what it was).

It's "dreams of Nelson Mandela" now.
How was Nikki Renee Daniels? Haven't heard much about her yet.

Thank you. I liked Nikki, She reminded my a lot of the other Nikki.
Just curious why they changed the Nelson Mandela lyric.

Because Nelson Mandela died – they changed it out of respect for him.
Saw Ryan Bondy tonight and he was very good! Same with Nikki Renée Daniels.

I think the "dreams" lyric change happened first in the Chicago cast, when Mandela was very ill. They kept it after he died.
I've seen Nikki Renée Daniels twice now and she's just lovely.

I just saw the 2nd national tour this last weekend, and what a thrill they are. If not the productions strongest company. Young, energetic, and top notch. David Larsen has the all American boy pat down. He and cody Jamison strand are the perfect pairing. Pierce cassedy is such a charm, and probably one of the stronger dancing Mckinley's. And for the ensemble, they are fresh and look like they are having a blast.
I wonder when Ben Platt is leaving: http://www.deadline.com/2014/08/ben-platt-will-segue-from-mormon-elder-to-ricki-and-the-flash-barkeep/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Anyone know who the new Elder McKinley is on the 1NT? He starts tonight but isn't on the site yet. Grey Henson left on Sunday for Broadway.
Ben Platt told me at the stagedoor he was in the show on Broadway until January, btw.

I'm coming late to this thread, but saw the show on Friday afternoon last week and it was, amazingly, as fresh and funny as it was 3 years ago. Ben Platt is ridiculously funny. Nikki was out, but her understudy, Candice Marie Woods, was splendid. Nic Rouleau, Daniel Breaker, Matt Loehr and Derrick Williams are all terrific. Delighted that the show holds up and that management is keeping the standards high.
When does Grey Henson start on Broadway?
