Also note that most shows did 9 performances Christmas week. So next week expect most shows to see a large dip in their grosses.

Ruben and Clay's numbers are just sad. They averaged under 400 people per show.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

$1,247,277 ! Great grosses for Chicago this particular week. Looking at the grosses, I am saddened that "Torch Song" figures weren't higher. I really enjoyed the play when I saw it. Now that we're in January 2019,

Ruben and Clays entire gross from this week is less than half of what Hamilton made in a SINGLE performance.

Anastasia had a good week with Cody out most of it and Christy out one show. I realize people buy tickets in advance but it's just interesting to see.

Glad Summer had a decent final week.

Same with My Fair Lady when Laura Benanti was out sick for most of the week.

I really don't think that Benanti, Altomare, and Simpson are particularly ticket-selling names.

Actually, they added a show AND played to less people than the previous week.

I factored that extra show in. 3,514/9 performances comes to 391 per show.

I know it's probably the busiest week of the year for Broadway, but I'm really happy to see The Prom increase in gross capacity. I had a blast when I saw it last week, and I really hope it hangs on, at least through the Tonys.

Look at it this way. While it's not all that notable to post a good business week during this week between Christmas and New Year's, at least it didn't have a sub-par week, which IS notable and signs that there is little to no chance for the show to ever recover at the box office.

I'm glad SUMMER went out with a bang ($1M+), just as it started out it's run back in April.

I wonder if Ruben and Clay will be invited back for a "Second Annual" show, or is their "First Annual" the same as their "Final" ?

Most shows increase ticket prices for the holiday week. Ridiculous, isnt it?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Don't feel sad for them. They're doing what they love to do and I'm sure they made a bucket of money in just 7 days.

I enjoyed Torch Song too and have my ticket for its final performance on Sunday.
