I have a friend who is working on a cabaret show about women seeking revenge. She's looking to create a medley of songs from Broadway shows.
I already suggested:
Greens Greens from Into the Woods
Just You Wait Henry Higgins from My Fair Lady
Leave You from Follies
I'm sure there must be others. Can you recommend any?
“No More” from See What I Wanna See, though that’s off-Broadway.
“Get Out and Stay Out” from 9 to 5 feels like an obvious choice.
Does it have to be from a show that has actually run on Broadway? There's a song from a show I wrote that fits the bill, but it hasn't been on Broadway (yet, lol). It's sung here by Loren Allred, from The Greatest Showman and The Voice.
Of recent memory:
"Back On Top" from War Paint
"World Burn" from Mean Girls
"Pretty, Pretty Girl" from Diana
Can't believe I'm the first to mention: He had it Coming; CHICAGO.
(And if my eye skipped over it - my apologies.)

Burn from Hamilton. I guess I'd say it's more about heartbreak in general, but the part at the end where she says she's burning the letters so they can't be used to redeem him - I'd say she's getting a bit of revenge in there.

Well, I knew that there for sure are songs about revenge, but I had no idea that there were so many of them. It looks like a popular issue to write a song about. And it's interesting because earlier this week, I found out that it's one of the most popular issues when it comes to classical literature. I've read a lot of different books, plays, etc., but I'd never noticed it before we started discussing it in my class. And now, I have to choose one classical book which has something connected to revenge issues and write an analysis of it. I've already found this site https://paperap.com/free-papers/revenge/ with different revenge essays, which will be amazing examples. I've already read the first one, and now I have more ideas. I still have to choose the book or maybe a play, but now it will be easier to write because at least I have these examples.

Could you count "No Good Deed" from Wicked on this list?
