Lion King cancelled tomorrow, to resume Tuesday.

I wonder how they’re contracting these actors they’re bringing in to do these performances. I was under the impression that an AEA contract has to be a minimum of 2 weeks. I’m guessing they’re being contracted as understudies or swings.
For Come From Away, Pearl Sun and Holly Ann Butler are under vacation swing contracts currently.

Angoradebs, The understudy portrayed Beverly and others during the tour stop in Jacksonville both times I saw it, a couple of weeks ago. I threw away my playbill so I'll ask you. Is Marika the understudy for the tour? I did a search and saw her picture and it looks like the person (without a wig) that I saw. If it was, she is excellent in the role."
I think you probably saw Jenny Ashman

I looked her picture up. I believe you're correct. She was very good in the role. That entire touring cast is excellent.
I hope at next years Tony Awards, there is a special segment devoted to honoring the Swings who are keeping Broadway open right now.
Tina cancelled this evening. To resume tomorrow

Was the matinee performed/completed?

No, they can't. They need 26 weeks of previous employment to qualify (or as the law puts it, "two calendar quarters".
Mockingbird cancelled tonight.
I saw that Kayla Davion was supposed to play Tina tonight but was called in for the matinee. I wonder if they didn’t have a Tina ready to go for tonight. (I assume none of the women playing Tina are contracted to do double shows.)
The 1pm matinee of the Wicked tour in Cleveland was cancelled today about 15 minutes after the house had opened at noon. A friend in the cast said they were rehearsing so they could go on with the 6:30 evening show.
Double post. Sorry.

Speaking of this, how did it work for the non-AEA actors that were brought on from the Waitress tour before the Broadway production closed? I know that Kennedy Salters went on for Becky at least a few times.

She was probably put on the same vacation swing contract that others are being put on.

Company's evening show is canceled.
Right now, two things (among many) are of critical importance. Communication and coordination.
Mockingbird has been failing at the first one. Stop with all the "performances will resume tomorrow" nonsense, and just call off this week's performances. Nobody believes the window-dressing at this point, and it's bad for business.
And as for Tina, what a hot mess on both of them. Why would anyone have any confidence buying tickets for this show, at this point? They're just finished. They will not see the new year.
What a positive attitude.
Here’s to both shows coming back stronger than ever. I hope both companies quickly recover. I’m sure they’re doing everything they can to resume performances when they say.

Besides Christine Dwyer, which former Elphabas have been called to potentially fill in on Broadway and the tour?
TINA's story is moreso the fact they had no one to play the lead tonight unless Kayla Davion did both shows. Both Tina u/s are still out(Ari Groover & Leandra Ellis-Gaston). I fully except them back tomorrow unless there's new breakthrough cases.
Yeah, the trouble at Tina is having enough people to cover the title role. There’s no well of people they can call on from tours or people who recently departed. I know they’ve been rehearsing new Tinas ever since they reopened. Probably one of the hardest roles physically and vocally on Broadway right now. I bet Elphaba is a walk in the park in comparison.

Just responded to a stupid comment that got deleted...
So, I'll just edit my response to say...I'm very excited to go see Sharon Brown as Caroline right now!
To Jordan's astute point: I predict a curtain rising on a stage filled with a hundred plus swings, covers, understudies and standbys at the Tony Awards, in character-specific costume. And an ovation like no other. I'm already feeling the love that will be shown
