The person who showed the cast board on Instagram did not show the complete cast board. It seems clear that the show is reaching out to previous Broadway and Cellblock Tour cast members.

She's still in the show I thought.

I think I know which seat(s) you are talking about. I saw two great seats pop up today for tomorrow’s performance. I had already grabbed my ticket (for tomorrow) the other day. Not quite as great as yours, but still pretty good. Fingers crossed for tomorrow night!

In the role of Hunyak: Nicole Benoit
Nicole's been a vacation swing with the show since it reopened.

You can still test positive for covid after recovery, despite likely not being contagious anymore. One of the primary reasons the CDC doesn't recommend testing after recovery.
And I'll bet the band still doesn't mask-up when they return.

So many cancellations. I wonder which other shows will suspend like doubtfire? Maybe Tina?

You're right, my bad. For some reason I thought she left on January 1st.

I was sorely disappointed in Tina (except for the last 15 minutes or so), but I am certainly not rooting for its demise. I don’t think it’ll last much longer, but I’m also not counting the minutes until they announce.

First preview and opening night of Paradise Square have been pushed back, respectively, to March 15 and April 3.

That sounds like a much better bet than trying to start in February.

I'm quite surprised that Broadway has yet to announce a booster requirement.

Was Little Shop the only show that cancelled today (other than previously announced CFA and Music Man)?

This is amazing. Cory who usually plays Young Simba stepped in for Young Nala.

HADESTOWN canceled the tour’s opening night in Houston this evening. Post on Hobby Center social:
We regret to share that tonight’s performance of Hadestown at the Hobby Center is postponed due to a combination of factors, including COVID and non-COVID related illness within the company. We regret any disappointment and inconvenience this scheduling change has created for patrons. All future performances of Hadestown at the Hobby Center are scheduled to go on as planned.
Please hold onto your tickets while we work to reschedule this performance. Ticketholders will be notified by email as soon as possible.
I have tickets for tomorrow night. Hoping for the best but not optimistic.

It was simply a day of rest for him (according to ensemblist Cameron Adams), in case anyone was wondering.

That's good to hear - and nice that his understudy got a shot at the role before they pause.

I saw this Saturday night and Rob seemed tired then, especially his voice. I wonder if it's a role that needs a matinee alternate as not only is it insanely physical (sometimes needlessly so) but also vocally insane.

From a medical perspective, my guess is that many people are not in the “window” to get a booster shot still. (Recently reduced from 6 to 5 months) and also getting an appointment can be quite hard depending on where you live.
Unless their booster requirement is set for a date at least a month down the road, you risk knocking off your potential audience, especially foreign tourists who may not have had access to boosters yet or younger patrons who aren’t yet eligible.

The vaccine-order rules are indeed quite strict in many countries. i live in Norway and here the vaccines have always been given in a set order, with the oldest and sickest first. The group 25-38 got their first vaccine last, and many didn't get the first one until about August, which means they didn't get the second until October/November. This group will most likely be offered the 3rd dose starting around mid-february, though many won't be able to get it yet because they have to wait 5 months. I was lucky to get mine sooner as I'm part time health worker and got to skip the line a bit, very happy about that as it'll make my trip in two weeks easier.
