re the snow, it's not a significant snowfall. Chill, no pun intended."
It's great news....if the show actually reopens. And then if it reopens, will it be successful enough to run for a significant amount of time? Who's to say, but it seems incredibly unfair to the cast/crew to not pay them for 9 weeks and then remain closed. Obviously closing the show this month would have sucked too, but at least there would be no false hope.

We are facing a brutal winter. There are no good choices here, but I side with hope. If some company members can't deal with the possibility of false hope (I don't think Kevin would do it this way if he did not fully intend to reopen; it doesn't make sense) then they can treat it as closed and they are at the same place they would be if it had closed and there was no hope. As I have said a bunch of times, I expect at most a dozen or so survivors. If this moves the show a place or two back on the plank, I think that's a good thing.

Tina’s pricing is downright laughable. They had maybe 15-20% of the house sold tonight and I went up to the box office to see if I could snag a cheap ticket and the cheapest one they had was $99 for the ass end of the mezzanine. Girl, what?!
Miraculously, I ended up at COMPANY on a lark where I got two aisle Orchestra Left-Center Oriented seats for $59 each an hour before doors open

I'm scheduled to be in town this weekend to see Moulin Rouge and Flying Over Sunset. I'm in the "proceed until I can't" mode, but I would hate to get there to be cancelled while sitting in the House. Especially for Moulin Rouge. I was hoping to see Danny before he departed.
That's so odd with Tina. There was a discount code floating around back when the show reopened and was able to get Orch discount seats for Adrienne's final show.

Rachel Tucker, Julie Reiber, Astrid are all still out with COVID.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

had a similar experience at Tina last week as well, asked if there was any Rush tickets and the box office lady might as well have rolled her eyes at me. Rudest (and somewhat, dumbest) staff I've ever encountered at a box office on Broadway after informing me of the same thing. Why would Tina rather have so many empty seats when they could simply sell cheaper tickets?

They cancelled once due to non-COVID illness, but when three members of the cast went out with it, and then more a few days later, they were out of coverage and retroactively closed.
Pity to think it might have had a fighting chance if they had started to rehearse the new cast when they were cast

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
