I was jealous that ya'll were going... until I looked and grabbed a nice table seat for myself.

Posted: 3/18/14 at 3:16pmDoes anyone else find it odd that we haven't seen one single press photo of Michelle Williams either in rehearsal or in costume? Hopefully she is just THAT good in the role that Roundabout wants to keep her under wraps until the unveiling of a star on Friday night!

I thought the same thing! Even on their Instagram accounts, both Roundabout and Cabaret's, there has been no mention of Williams, let alone an image. It's either going to be a wreck, or astonishing.
I bet the latter.
Oh, and I'll be there April 15th. VERY EXCITED!

Posted: 3/18/14 at 3:25pmFor those who weren't around or don't remember: the message boards were brutal on Natasha Richardson's performance in early previews, until something clicked for her at some point along the way during the preview period.

Posted: 3/18/14 at 3:29pmI remember reading that Richardson had been described as a total mess during previews. Highly debatable, but once she got her NYTimes love letter, everyone changed their tune.

I will be there on Friday night. I saw the first preview of CABARET back in 1998 and it was one of the most thrilling nights I've ever had in the theater. Natasha Richardson's performance, in particular was so stunning I vowed never to go back and see any of her replacements in the part. I can't speak as to how her other performances during the preview period were, but yes, that first night she was that special.
Somehow I have a hunch Michelle Williams might recapture some of that magic, which is why I'm ready to go back to the Kit Kat Club. Sitting at a table right next to the stage -- which I hope isn't obstructed view!

I'll be there on Friday.
I saw Natasha as Sally during an early preview and she was stunning in the role.

Posted: 3/18/14 at 5:15pmI hope they go back to the badly bleached blonde look Natasha Richardson had for Michelle.

Posted: 3/18/14 at 5:21pmHow accommodating would Roundabout be if other tables open up? I currently am at a side table.

It looks like they're now selling obstructed-view seats ar the orchestra rear -- $82.
