The fact that he autographed that Tiger Beat is even more hilarious. Are those suspenders and is he wearing tube socks with loafers?
As for his reputation...I wrote a post about him on my blog several weeks ago and got a handful of comments from people claiming all kinds of things about his...way...with the ladies. Some flattering, some not so flattering.
I'm not sure if it's already been answered, but judging by this photo, I believe the correct response to the thread title's question is no, he cannot (or at least not a full head of it).
Props to him for wearing the yin-yang earring, though. It reminds me of earrings I wore in fifth grade from Claire's. (I say that in the nicest way possible.)
Yep, I definitely had the yellow smiley face earrings as well, along with rainbow peace sign earrings. I really shouldn't be admitting to all of this...
And tell your cousin that he might only have hope if he has a killer voice and can play the guitar.
Hot and short. I got a chance to meet him tonight. I'm 5'7" and was wearing 2 inch heels. I was taller than him.
I'll repost this here. I went to Rockers on Broadway tonight:
Cerveris showed up at the tail end...literally for about 15 minutes. I'm still giddy because I got a chance to meet him. He, Christian Hoff, Donny Kerr and two other guys plus Des MacNuff played a medley of Tommy songs.
Patrick Wilson was there. I was at the bar ordering a drink and he was next to me. I turned and saw him and tapped hij on the arm and told him I loved him in Angels in America. I then told him his sex scene with Ben Shenkman was one fo the hottest I ever saw. He was unbelieveable gracious and sweet and bought me a drink. He sand a cover of Journey's "Any way you want it."
Mickety Dolenz sang "I'm a believer."
Kathy Brier sang "Piece of My Heart" and a tune from her new CD. The mikes and amps kept shorting out on her song.
Chris Thompson played something.
J. Robert Spencer opened with some song, wearing shades.
Two women sang Lady Marmalade.
The place to be was either outside smoking or at the bar. There was zero air conditioning. Literally. It was awful. No seating, either. You had to stand to watch the show.
Christian Hoff was very genuine and sweet. Daniel Reichard (absolute doll) was at the bar and joked that he put a rufy in my drink.
Molly Price from Third Watch was there and she was really sweet.
No JLY.
Cerveris was coming out from performing the Tommy medley and talking to ...someone. One of the Jersey Boys. I walked up to him, told him I loved Sweeney and took a picture with him. As we were posing I said, "Are you gonna do that sexy head tilt, cocked eyebrow look you usually do?"
Moxie, I found the picture. That is amazing that he did the eyebrow thing for you.
If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)
I had a thing or two to tell him after a Fun Home and that speaking voice is so seductive. I felt like Mowgli after the snake does the hypno eyes on him. Cerveris obviously knows his power.
He said in some interview that during TOMMY the wigs got too annoying and he preferred to just shave his head bald. Plus, it gives some creative freedom to make him fit a character better since nearly all of his latest roles have wigs to appear as a certain character. He doesn't have the burden of settling for a look, it can be whatever the designers/director wishes.
This is going back a bit, but when he was Hedwig in my theater I got to know him and what a nice guy. After the show, instead of rushing home, he greeted every single fan who was waiting to speak with him, and spent as much time with them as each fan wanted. There were times when we were dying to close up and go home, but had to wait until he finished talking to every fan.
