Aww, I hope he's ok. Wasn't he out on medical leave earlier in the run?

19 days 23 hours 34 min until the day of the final showing of TWS. i cant believe it. however, i guess Richard Blake fans won't have to worry...he will be Warner in the upcoming "Legally Blonde".

tchi4lif, hey! wow three shows in two days, that's impressive! Yeah I'm rushing on Saturday, so I'm getting there pretty early. Are you rushing? This is insane!! I really need to see this show again asap, but being away at college does not make it easy!

Anyone going to see Felicia's show at Splash Bar tonight? I was so stoked about it, then I once again fell prey to the tragedy of being the one college student in NYC that doesn't have a fake I.D. Well, I have 7 months 'til I reach full legality, but I'll be there in spirit. I hope some people can go and show support!

I'd love to go, but I don't have any way to kill time in the city between work and this. Especially since it starts at like a billion o'clock. [/old lady]

Mistress, he was out earlier for surgery, but nothing to do with his back. Besides, its such a physical show, I'm almost surprised that that there weren't more injuries.

Ah, thanks. I just remembered him being out before.
And you really don't think the number of injuries has been bad? It's probably because this is the first show I've really FOLLOWED instead of just going and enjoying, but it seemed like a lot to me.
I guess I never realized how easy it can be to hurt one's back or break a rib when performing all the time.

I have two questions to ask.
How much did the show cost to produce?
What is an approximate running cost?
Thanks!!

I do not know the running cost but Felicia told me it wound up costing $16 million to produce.

oh god, random but: it just really hit me that in just a few weeks Wedding Singer will be gone...like I just realized that it's not that long until it's gone and then in a few short months another show will be taking place there...
it's stupid, but it just suddenly occured to me there's not even 3 weeks left

I agree, it is very depressing. I wish that out of all of the broadway shows that this wasn't the one to be closing.

Thanks FOA. If anyone else knows feel free to answer! It is depressing. The other depressing part is I might not see it. I do have another chance though and hopefully it will work out. Probably going on the 22nd if it does work!!

Has anyone heard any info on the MTI license? There was that one news article awhile back and I havnt heard anything else. Stinks that the show is closing but the next best thing would be to actually perform in it! Any info??

Thanks! Anyone know anything on tour stops or anything about vocal/piano selections? I think the answer is no but everyone on here is always so knowledgeable.
My friend also wanted to share what she thought on the show.
"I loved it and the production aspect was the best I've ever seen in a show ever. And the actors were good, too."
