If my first post didn't go through, I don't know why.

Funding comes from various sources that donate to the Library, not the production itself. It indeed costs a lot of money to tape each show, so not many are recorded, only the "lucky" ones. It really is a great deal of help if you're working on a project, students and actors, alike. On any given day, you can see a famous actor go in to study tapes. Updated On: 12/12/06 at 11:10 PM

Thanks for clearing that up, and it probably wasn't you...I was probably just too naive to know.

EDIT: My original post doesn't make as much sense now since yours was one of the lost ones, causing you to have to update it. The first post said something along the lines of "...if I made it sound like the production pays for it, it doesn't..." or something like that.

And thanks for all the information! It's kinda interesting. My guess is maybe they see a fairly healthy life in community theaters and want those working on local productions to be able to see the original for guidance? Maybe.

It can't be as outdated as Tina's, where the big update was taking information OFF the site.

Kevin Kern was on as Robbie for both shows today, and I bring with me the best blooper ever from tonight's Grow Old With You: "I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches / put you to bed when the furnace breaks..."

LOL that's funny. He's putting her to bed when the furnace breaks so she doesn't have to deal with the hastle of getting someone to fix it. That's sweet! Yeah, ok.

No planned absences as far as I know.
I believe Stephen had a personal day today and that's all there was to it.
In other news, David Josefsberg told me and my friends last night that he is not only doing Atlantic City, but he wiill be touring with Stephen Lynch on his whole tour *or most of it* - I know he is going to a lot of the locations with him. Hope everyone catches them!

I might be at stagedoor for both. I am debating seeing the matinee to catch Kevin as Billy Idol, but I should definitely be at the night show stage door. Look for me....I usually stand on the side of the barricades...the side closer to ninth ave.
