I'm actually fine with anyone wanting to give an RIP to the guy. Any sort of political violence. I'm even fine if you follow him, just to keep up with what he was spewing next. But liking one of his posts, or coming out and saying he was "a good Christian" is grounds for immediate unfollowing.

Also, it's very telling that this began as a conversation with people wanting Chenoweth to clarify her statement and some not wanting to buy tickets to see her...and was quickly escalated to "You're not condemning a death enough for MEEEEE!"
Because if you want Chenoweth to explain what she meant, or don't buy a ticket to see her, you're...celebrating that person's death? Umm hmmm.

Typical MAGAt, refuses to admit you're wrong. Like, they can never be wrong. You're an asinine troll in Texas, Nobody cares about you which is why you're on here 24 hours a day. No job, no school, no friends or family. Good news tho: You, Seb, and Aussie MAGAt can all meet in like....Wyoming and be racist together! You don't matter and neither does your hate speech. I just wanted to make sure you understand that.

And if you'd ever click on report to mods, the words I stated as fact are right there. Kiss Kiss Bitch."
But I'm not wrong. You can click "rules" on the messageboard main page. It looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/fdNMprd
Or did you click on the link I provided? Surely they're the rules, right? Since why would anyone learn fresh what the rules are when they go to report someone? They're provided ahead of posting.
And I'm in NYC. I just uploaded a photo I took downtown in the thread about the Limelight Club.
And thank you for all the ad hominem, it's been a few days since my last dose of Matt.

Sure thing, buddy"
Reminds me of the person who tried to pump up Tammy Faye and yelled at everyone who was critical. Great reading.

It specifically means a person who says things in bad faith because they enjoy angering and annoying people."
If you look at their collection of posts, you can see that they frequently give false information about themself, present blatant falsehoods as fact, post incendiary remarks and aspersions about Americans, and troll posters (myself included) insisting that we acknowledge and/or agree with their POV re: all the issues I've listed above.
They are (at least) partially responsible for getting (2) threads locked within the past 48 hours because of their incendiary comments, and the effects they instigated because of those posts.
That just isn’t true. I hate how low the quality of this opposition is. Genuinely I feel like I’m talking to a child who doesn’t appear to comprehend or read in good faith. But maybe you are indeed the troll trying to get me to leave because if there was anything respectful about the way you talk to me here it would make it more interesting. Seriously John Adams your series of ad hominems is boring, it’s dumb and it’s why YOU should be reported. I hate that I now have to lower myself to this too but you’re literally impossible to reason with because you’re unreasonable.

You're a disgusting fake Pride waiving gay by insisting MAGAs are good people. You have been reported. Go away from these boards into your isolated, gay MAGA cave in Australia.

Hey all, just a friendly reminder that while the right is unified and planning together how to further destroy our country, instead of strategizing, we're sitting here attacking one another and trying to figure out if (checks notes) Kristin Chenoweth hates gay people? Because she said that it was sad someone got assassinated? So now we need to do all sorts of research to confirm that she's an ultra-MAGA, racist, homophobic, transphobic jerk? Because obviously that MUST be the case?
THIS. IS. WHY. PEOPLE. DON'T. TAKE. US. SERIOUSLY. And most importantly, why we keep losing elections. Get a grip, people. There are actual problems in the world we should be fighting to fix.

We're not attacking each other. People are interested in which of Kirk's opinions Chenoweth agreed with since she said it herself.
And yes, binau (who is part of that unified right attacking the rest of us) among others have given the, "This is why Trump won. This is why Kamala lost. This is why people don't take you seriously" lecture before. Maybe you should take your own advice about not sitting here attacking people (unless what you really mean is questioning Broadway divas who say someone with Kirk's beliefs is a good person now in heaven).
The New York Times has picked up the story.
The other producers have to be pissed at Chenoweth. Less than 4 weeks out from the first preview of a show that is riding almost entirely on her name and this is what the press is talking about. Everything she posts on social media right now should include the words "Queen of Versailles" and a link to buy tickets.

Or how about we stop this red scare nonsense of "let's uncover anyone working on Broadway who has different beliefs than us". Do I agree with a single thing Kirk believed in? Absolutely not. But do I remotely care what celebrity did or did not? No, because there are way bigger and more important things we all should be worrying about. Unless you're getting excited for Vance 2028? Because that's where we're headed unless we start banding together to actually grow our base and come together.
And news flash: If you think Kristin Chenoweth, who has spent the last 30 years performing on Broadway and making appearances on things like Rupaul's Drag Race hates gay people? Because she probably just spoke too quickly to clarify what she meant when she posted something about someone dying? You either don't know a thing about the type of folks she's been working with on Broadway for the last 30 years or your analytical skills are way off.

Like I said, I give Chenoweth the benefit of the doubt, but how is she not savvy enough to know that it's just best to lay low and not comment on anything remotely controversial when she has a show about to open? Talk about an "unforced error."
I always felt Cheno played her LGBTQ+ fans to sell tickets. It's not her first time supporting something MAGA. I hated her appearances on Stars in the House during COVID. She always came off phoney to me.
