This post on All that Chat says she allegedly has been advised to not make any further comment.
Take that as you will.

"Someone named Brandon Hilton (a self described "Celebrity Fashion Designer"), who says he is a friend of Kristin's, claimed on Threads that he texted Kristin to let her know that her comments were receiving enormous blowback online and she responded saying she was aware, but was being advised not to comment. In her response to him, she says she's heartbroken, that she's an ally and that she's not MAGA, but that her team has told her to not comment further."
Her initial comment wasn’t great but could be chalked up to misguided well-intent.
Her total concurrence with Selma Blair’s explicitly partisan comment was just mindbogglingly bad.
It saddens me so much to see people (like in the post on All That Chat) lump her in with Zachary Levi and Laura Osnes, who are genuinely dangerous people with biological-warfare level beliefs. I could be putting too much faith in her (and I don't know why, because I really haven't loved her work the past couple of years) but I doubt Kristin Chenoweth has seen Charlie Kirk's mindless trolling on Jubilee, his actual unwillingness to engage with facts, the way that he would shut down anyone who actually tried to have a meaningful conversation with him. But even if she has, I think she's just a Christian who believes that, no matter what, if you believe in Jesus, you'll go to heaven. Which is weird to me for sure, but doesn't leave as bad of a taste in my mouth when I remember historically who she's supported for office. And, not for nothing, but her belief in vaccines helps.
I wouldn't lump her in with those folks, either. She did support Kamala last year, after all. I think she made a spectacularly poor judgment call here and absolutely needed to consult with her team before saying anything.
In fairness, Laura Osnes and Chad Kimball were guilty of nothing more than not wanting to get the Covid vaccine - I wouldn’t call either of their positions “biological-warfare level.” Come on now. Also, whereas Kimball was dumb enough to post his anti-lockdown rant on social media, Osnes attempted to handle her not wanting to get the vaccine privately and professionally. The mob reaction to Osnes was pretty crazy and I hope Cheno doesn’t get “cancelled” as well. I am sure that she disagrees with most of what Charlie Kirk professed but was expressing her belief that violence is never the answer as well as her sympathy for his family. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
I am also learning that many more centrist folks like Chenoweth who probably never paid much attention to Kirk while he was alive were unaware of some of his more offensive quotable quotes and some of the crazier aspects of Turning Point USA until the past couple of days. Give the lady a break!
EDIT: I have no idea what the Selma Blair thing is…both posts have been deleted from Cheno’s Instagram and Google doesn’t have any politically charged news about Selma Blair, I’m in the dark about that.

Legally Blonde actor Selma Blair commented on Kirk’s top-pinned Instagram post, calling him a “true patriot.” “And no matter what our views are, this man was someone who cared about all of us and created dialogue and thought,” she wrote, “and my heart is with his beautiful wife and children, and all who he means so much to. Rest in peace.”

I just really want to know what a "cauldron of indoctrination" is. I mean...I think I know, but...yikes."
I found this interesting and would love to know if it is true. But nothing surprises me anymore.
The origin of the misunderstanding stems from two separate social media incidents involving Blair and Kirk:
The combination of Blair's public praise for Kirk and the earlier use of "cauldron of indoctrination" by a different person seems to have led to the incorrect attribution of the phrase to Blair.

It was always going to be an uphill battle. Even with Chenoweth and a promising creative team, Queen of Versailles has little commercial appeal same as Tammy Faye.
