Oh Cuba was painful to listen to. How they signed off on him to re-open the show. They really should let it die now. I can't see it lasting after Cuba leaves unless they can get as big a name, which realistically will have to be an American Import.

The tour ends its American run in Minneapolis. They then move on to Toronto for a while. I know for a fact that the Chicago tour stops in Dallas in December, so it will restart at some point in the fall.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Gizmo, I agree with you about Cuba Gooding Jr. Talk about rough singing. The other cast members sounded fantastic.

I just saw that, I think Martin will bring a crowd, he can sing and has theatre credentials. And a large following from a varied career plus he looks dashing and perfect for the role.
Some ensemble replacements. Eddie Bennett briefly returned for two weeks to replace Sam Lips. Denny Paschall now plays "Aaron". And Chicago newcomer Jermaine R. Rembert has replaced James T. Lane(Martin Harrison). Katie Mitchell has returned and has replaced Angel Reda as "Mona".
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
An Oscar winner does not translate to a good stage performer. Of all the talent out there they hired who I believe to be AWFUL. He stunk in A Trip To Bountiful. He can barely sing- community theater all the way and I hope he doesn't wear that hairstyle in the show. What were they thinking????????????

Denny is back? Really? I hope he's back in that cute costume he used to wear. But it's going to be so different, I've seen him in the same role so many times. And I love all the fresh blood in general.

There are quite a number of Chicago veterans who will be in "The Cher Show" cast: Michael Berresse, Sam Lips, Angel Reda and Ryan Worsing. In addition, someone mentioned (the delicious) Charlie Williams and Michael Campayno (whose cleft chin ought to have its own Equity card) j/k.

She was just that great at all. But also more uncomfortably, that ensemble is so just...white. I mean, in such a diverse city, and so many other shows being so good about colorblind casting in the West End, why does everyone have to be so white they're almost porcelain?

This is a recent performance of the cast of Chicago at West End Live 2018. I noticed during the early part of "All That Jazz", the ensemble was out of sync with the lady playing Velma Kelly. She's doing her hand movement at the right time, but the ensemble was still in motion and out of sync. The sound wasn't the best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faYMexO5Uv0

Terra C McLeod is "Velma Kelly" from now until August 5, 2018. (per Telecharge)

The news is making it's way around Twitter. I believe he's been out of the show for a month or so, but was never taken out of the Playbill.

Such sad news to hear of Jeffrey's passing. But in the ensuing days Chicago cast members had been posting Equity Rule 34 on Intimidation. Now a blog posting has coming out with new allegations and it's all coming tragically clearer...
"On Friday June 29th, surrounded by his closest circle of friends and his partner of 33 years, Peter De La Cruz, Loeffelholz elicited gasps one final time as he was taken off life support the day after he attempted to take his own life by way of a handful of Tylenol with a tequila chaser. It was a touching, tragic curtain call.
It was also one tragedy that should’ve never played on Broadway. Loeffelholz took his own life almost a week after a particularly brutal dressing down by Chicago’s director, Walter Bobbie, as well as the show’s musical director, Leslie Stifelman...."
Yikes! Can't imagine the cast is handling this well.

I have never heard of this. This seems to have come out of nowhere.
