Enjoy.
Gorgeous.
Can't wait to get this doozy on Blu-ray. It looks:

That is an incredibly AWKWARD cut between "crazy married people" and "what would we do..."
Agree with Yankee. There is too much lag time there or something.
After watching it a few times, I am REALLY impressed with the way the orchestrations translated onto videotape.

It looks beautiful
oh my god. thank you so much !!
It looks interesting. I'm concerned I won't appriciate it as much because I didn't see it in the theatre. But I still can't wait. I'm in love with Raul just from that clip.
Hooray for multiple camera placements. I miss this show so much. Great to have such a beautiful souvenir.

The lighting seems to shadow Heather at times and darken the picture a bit. I hope the lights come through little brighter on television/DVD.

Looks rather good, doesn't it? Since the possibility of getting a version without the gimmick of onstage musical instruments is slim, this looks like this best bet. Not the definitive version, but enjoyable enough, I bet.

This could not come soon enough. Anyone have any guessing on when the DVD will be released?...
It's currently scheduled for release on DVD on May 20th.
Well, I have to admit I was not a fan of this revival, and left at intermission. Watching this video, I'm glad I did! Give me Elaine Stritch, Barbara Barry, Larry Kert, Donna McKechnie, Pam Meyers, Charles Kimbrough, Teri Ralston, Beth Howland ... and the rest of the original COMPANY over this atrocity any day. I think its just horrendous. The staging just looks absolutely stupid. They're all too busy playing instruments that they lose all sense of character.
I must say, though I will watch the whole thing on PBS, it just looks so lifeless and boring. I'm not crazy about it, but I will watch it with an open mind.
It's nice to see a show actually filmed well. Can't wait to see it in HHHHHDDDDDDDD.
I can't wait for this to finally air.
