I have to say that that performance was not a good representation of the show. It felt to much like a cabaret performance.

Just started watching - here are my thoughts so far:
SPRING AWAKENING FOR "BEST LYRICS": I can see it now...
(The committee is reading the lyrics for SA)
COMMITTEE MEMBER #1: "Come cream away the bliss..."
COMMITTEE MEMBER #2: "Baiting some girl with hypotheses..."
(Long silence)
COMMITTEE MEMBERS ALL AT ONCE: BRILLIANT!!!
(All reach for their GUINNESS(c)'s and toast each other)
SPRING AWAKENING FOR "BEST MUSIC": Okay, now that definately was the right choice.
"I MISS THE MUSIC": That was a really nice song.

Go John Kander!

The song works better when you like the voice of the singer, I think. It can break your heart in the show.

Its awesome to see these legendary Broadway Musical masterminds
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

Karen Ziemba owns my heart.
I LOVE her. And she was such a doll to me when I started crying in front of her when I met her at the stage door. She very pretty.
