I've been searching, but just in case i've missed anything, does anyone have any info regarding dicount codes for WSS or 9 to 5? Thanks!

I wish 9 to 5 had followed in DROWSY's and CRY-BABY's footsteps and made the last rows $35.

I don't know when but I can assure you this based on my past experience:
The discount codes will be made availble the day AFTER I buy Tix!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

$54 preview tickets made sense for Cry-Baby because that was the year the show took place (right?). If 9-5 did that, preview tickets would be $80-something.
I too have been waiting for discount codes for West Side Story. I don't know who the heck can afford full-price in this economy, but apparently a lot of people can, because from everything I have read, the advance for WEST SIDE STORY is extremely high.
One of the lead producers is Kevin McCollum, and if you look at the past shows he has produced, a lot of those shows have been very, very stingy with discount codes. White Christmas pulled its discount codes (which were ridiculous to begin with) right away, relegating audiences who wanted to see this to the task of shelling out $140.00 ticket charges. Avenue Q had a very restrictive discount code in the early days of that show, and of course, IN THE HEIGHTS yanked its discount codes the split second it won the Tony, and for a while, that made sense, because they were really playing capacity, but even after sales slumped somewhat, they took forever to put back any codes. So...I'm just saying....do not hold your breath for WEST SIDE STORY discount codes any time soon. I really hope they appear, because I will not buy a ticket otherwise, but I think that they are playing this like SOUTH PACIFIC, which has never yet put out a code, and nor do they need to, due to sales.
If their advance is indeed high....i wouldn't expect discounts at all.
Didn't B.E. take back their discounts once they opened? I could be wrong here.

Insider2, you mentioned South Pacific didn't have a discount code - but it did. It was part of Seasons of Savings one year, but not promoted. I remember getting a meager discount during previews.
WSS sold incredibly well in DC and I assume it will sell incredibly well in NY. I have heard lots of people talking about it. Don't expect any discounts from there but there will probably be a lottery or rush.
I think we have to wait a while for any 9 to 5 discounts. Maybe right before previews.
South Pacific had a discount code? Sheesh. I'm on every discount board around and on every mailing list in New York, or so it seems, and I never got any code. But if I'm wrong, sorry about that. My big pet peeve on this board is when people spout off all kinds of inaccurate information as if it is truth written in stone. So, my apologies if South Pacific was ever discounted (just not to me).
The SP discount code was only for the month of March. Then when the reviews came in the code vanished

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
$8m is quite a hefty advance, but i'm still holding out for discount codes for WSS ... the economy's too dicey, and the tourists won't be back for a coupla months yet -- assuming they come back at all this year.
9to5 seems to me a slam dunk guarantee for discount codes, but probably my bias is showing there. :)
This is kind of off-topic, but since it was mentioned, there is a South Pacific discount code that came out today. Only 20% off through 3/31, but it is something. SOPBL26

Oh... It's only for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Well, looks like I'll have to cave and buy a full price ticket...my trip is next month, and I dont want to wait much longer, in case the one night I have free sells out. I assume if we havent seen a discoung for WSS yet, we wont now!

The 1TCHG code for 9 to 5 doesn't work. Try 1BBOX That's what I got from broadwaybox.com Nothing new on WSS. No way I'm gonna pay full price for that one either. I'll wait it out.
