A loooong time ago, I had a dream I was seeing Jekyll & Hyde. It was at this really weird theatre, where there was a stream that ran between the stage and where the audience was, and there were bridges that connected the stage to the house. Anyways, there were all these vines and plants, and the audience sat in benches... it was very strange, I don't even remember if the show began before I woke up.
I also had a dream I was seeing Wicked on tour. We got to the theatre, and there was a very complex way of getting to the auditorium. We had to go through all these rooms, and finally we got the the balcony, but our seats were in the orchestra, so we just sort of.. jumped down and landed right at our seats, only the seats were backwards and slanted down, so when we watched the show, we were watching it from behind, and upside down. Everyone also had popcorn and drinks. Also a very weird dream.

I had a dream that I was playing the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot on Broadway. The strange thing was that when I was onstage, the audience was the audience of the Shubert Theatre and when I went back into the wings, it was the backstage and dressing rooms of my high school.

I had just finished "The Song That Goes Like This" and went offstage to get ready for "Knights of the Round Table" I had the silver outfit on, but I was looking everywhere for the armor that goes over it. I was asking people in the chorus, techies, and stage manager if they knew where the armor was. They all said it was in my dressing room. I knew it wasn't there. I even resorted to calling Sara Ramirez and asking her if she knew where it was left. She said it was in the dressing room, too. I kept convincing everyone that it wasn't in there, but they said it was.

I woke up not knowing what happened to the armor.

I had a dream I went to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. The show started and I didn't bother to look in my playbill. The overture ended and Jon Pryce didn't turn around...it was Dennis Parlato. I screamed, left the show, then woke up.

I have had two dreams that I recall:

The first one is that the night before I saw RENT, I had a bladder problem and missed all of my favorite songs from the show. I also got slapped in the face by Anthony Rapp because I missed the entire first act.

The other dream is that I was in Little Shop of Horrors, and we were in the New York Yankees locker room throwing a party for Hunter Foster because he was leaving the show. Of course, they did the whole champagne thing. We actually were all crying, and Hunter was like don't want to leave Sammie!" (thats me, and I was Audrey.)Then Audrey II started crying too". That is the wierdest dream ever. lol.

I dream about Wicked a lot. My friend Ally had a dream that our theater company was putting on Wicked, and I got cast as Glinda, and when Ally asked if she was Elphaba, my director said, "No, Sarah's Elphaba! You're the stupid elf!" My other friend Sarah then randomly walks in, in a cheap witch costume. It doesn't sound funny at all, but the way she interpreted "stupid elf" was rather amusing.
I think I also had a dream that Norbert was replaced in DRS by George Clooney or something. I'm pretty sure I woke up regreting buying tickets. Updated On: 10/7/06 at 08:28 PM

I once had a dream that Patti LuPone and Glenn Close were on an episode of celebrity survivor (which doesn't even exist...) together (and everyone was wearing dresses and gowns, haha) and somehow her and Glenn formed an alliance and voted of Jerry Orbach, when he was voted of at council, he high kicked Glenn in the face and her nose came off.

And that's what goes on in my head. Haha.

I often have dreams that I am being thrown onstage in a role I like without any preparation--I totally improvised Sweeney's speaking parts.

I just recently had a dream where I was back in Oliver (We did it in the fall and I was Charlotte) and I forgot all my lines and I wore these ugly tennis shoes and big glasses, and it was just a mess.

Oh I forgot...I had a fabulous Norbert dream once. It's hard to describe, but I guess I found a bootleg of him in DRS (it was a long time ago) and him and the rest of the cast traveled to our community theatre and they were doing this really weird version of DRS and I guess there was a character named Cassie in it (which I don't think there is) and the girl who played 'Cassie' was sick or something...and Norb asked someone in the audience to come up and be Cassie. And I went onstage, and NORBERT KISSED ME. It was amazing.

I had a dream where I was back at the Company Theatre in Norwell doing a production of Godspell I had recently finished up (to this day, it's my favorite onstage experience). I had this huge helmet thingy on (think that thing that all the South Park kids had to wear in the episode "Child Abduction Isn't Funny"). If I took it off, I would throw up. Yes.

I have had two REALLY WEIRD dreams involving HELLO, DOLLY!

1. I'm on a city rooftop with my younger sister. The stairwell door is painted red with the signs of the zodiac on it. To the strains of "Hello, Dolly!," a huge-breasted African-American woman in the Dolly dress comes up the stairs and smothers me between her mammaries.

2. I'm in a production of the show, but i don't know my lines or which role I'm playing. Oh yes, and it's not set in Yonkers anymore, but in a Native American camp, complete with teepees and totem poles, and Channing descends the stairs in a buckskin dress with a black braided wig and a single feather in her hair.

I had a dream the other night that I had to go to the Helen Hayes Theater to get my playbill from Jay Johnson..,

I also had a dream that me and my mom and my two grandmothers went to New York. We went to the TKTS booth to see what was playing and there was only Chicago, Martin Short, and The Wedding Singer. I was going to chose Chicago to see Usher but then I realized he wasn't in it, so I went to see Martin Short instead.

OH MY GOD, I juat laughed so hard at that. I wish it actually happened (although, I could never really imagine Jerry Orbach kicking anyone in the face).

One time, Patti LuPone punched me in the face...

It was awesome.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out today, and when I was under the loopy powers of the IV, I dreamed I was casting and directing a new musical about dental tools. The drill was the villain.

The worst part was that I could subconciously feel them stitching me up, and when they were, I remember saying to myself, "Well these costumes are coming along very nicely."

Can you say CREEPY

You're going to laugh at me.

About a year and a half ago I dreamt I went to see Wicked (in NYC) and the stage was decorated with green and blue (not pink) neon lights and a slide. There was a DVD of the show that the cast had recorded on the stage while the show was going on, so I stole it and slid down the slide to get away. After the show, I went to the stage door to get signatures and one of the cast (don't remember who) came out and asked me to please return the DVD because they thought it would end up on the internet.

It was strange, and I woke up kind of sad because at the time I thought I'd never actually get to see the show.

I once had a dream after watching Sweeney Todd. I dreamed I was watching the DVD on my TV, and at the finale, Sweeney came up close to the screen and started slashing the screen. I woke up in my dream and Sweeney was standing right there. Then I woke up for real.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

That's probably the most hilarious thing I've heard today.

Once I had a dream that my best friend and I lived in New York City in this nice apartment. On the day of the dream another one of our friends was visiting. Apparently Beth Leavel lived in the apartment across the hall. One day she came over and asked us to walk her dog. I told her we couldn't walk her dog because we were going to see Sweeney Todd and didn't have the time. Our friend that was visiting wasn't seeing the show with us, so she agreed to walk Beth's dog. My friend and I go to see Sweeney, and we are sitting next to this old man who is dressed in this raggedy pirate outfit. For some reason my friend and I thought it was Patti LuPone's dead Grandfather (..if you read her ramblings, you know who I'm talking about). So we were trying to kidnap him and take him to Patti in the middle of the show. Then, Beth randomly comes storming in the theater and accuses us of stealing her dog. Then Patti gets mad, stops the show, and starts screaming at us. And then I cried.
The End.

As you can see, my dreams are rather odd.

There wouldn't be lights bright enough!
