re: Everyone's name?

Awwww. Not that bad...
My story is, when I was little, I was in an acting class. We each had to pick one showtune, and learn it. I picked "broadway baby" because I just loved that song. So, yeah. That 2 wasn't even meant to be in there. I was just supposed to be "Justabroadwaybaby" and when it said Welcome, Justabroadwaybaby2, i was just like what the... but 2 is my favorite number!

re: Everyone's name?

I got "Brunette bombshell" because I heard that Natalie Wood (One of my favorite actresses ever) was called it at one time.

re: Everyone's name?

Well, mine is fairly obvious. I originally came up with this screen name for the Boulevard Forum (an unofficial Sunset site based in Britain). I'm not an active member there anymore. I did it to stand out and also to show my devotion to Miss Patti. I asked Patti LuPone herself if I could have her "blessing" to use PattiLuPoneFANatic. She gave me her approval. P.L. herself mentioned me as her "FANatic" to the other people in her dressing room, when I saw her in March. That was unexpected. from Roman in Austin, Texas... the official Patti LuPone FANatic

I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

re: Everyone's name?

When I signed up, I thought of two of my favorite characters from musicals.
Peggy Sawyer from 42nd Street -and-
Velma Kelly from Chicago

I'm usually referred to as just Peggy. Which kind of makes me sound like an old lady. Haha.

Chop, I hate to be a wench, but isn't that bit in t,t...B! "chubstitute"?? Some a fat reducer, or something like that? re: Everyone's name?

Mine's, believe it or not, not from Mack and Mabel. It was my childhood nickname that just kind of stuck. It's from that kiddie magazines, Highlights (the Timbertoes stories).

My name, obviously. Not very original or exciting. But I was tired of Librarian and ResearchQueen. Sometimes simpler really is better.

So, back when I made it, it suited me well.

I have always been crazy about the late great Alfred Drake - Kean was the last show I saw him in (missed GiGi).

re: Everyone's name?

Well I was interested in the show when I joined here but used this name as an AIM SN before I really got into it, I just thought it sounded cool.

re: Everyone's name?

Hello, very old thread! Fancy seeing you here! ^_^

When I was very much younger, there was a series of books and a cartoon series based on those books, both called 'The Animals Of Farthing Wood'. One character was Weasel, who was quite annoying and obnoxious and talked and sang and danced around a lot. One of my schoolfriends declared I was very much like this character, which amused me greatly. So when my parents finally decided we could have internet access, I wanted a Weasel related screenname and came up with Weezle2. That was over ten years ago, and I've been Weez ever since, in my real life as well as my internet life. Could be worse, I suppose. It doesn't tie me to any obsessions or date me in any way I wouldn't want. :3

re: Everyone's name?

Mine is my first name and middle initial. Not very exciting.

What's that you ask? Why is there no "e" in my first name? Is it a typo? No. My parents heard the name Courtny when my mom was pregnant with me and they just didn't know that most people spelled it with an "e." Now I get a lifetime of explaining that it is spelled C-O-U-R-T-N- (no "e") Y. But it's ok. I like my name. re: Everyone's name? Okay, maybe that wasn't very exciting either. Sorry.

re: Everyone's name?

hey, thanks for reviving this thread, Kathy K! What fun.

Bobby Maler is the boy that Hanschen in "Spring Awakening" has a crush on in class. Well..not really Hanschen...when they sing, they step out of time, which means Bobby Maler exists in our time..and looks really nasty in his khakis!
