I can't tell based on that video but I wonder if they expanded the orchestration at all for the larger space?

I think we'll definitely be getting "Where a Man Belongs" instead of "'Tween a Rock an' a Hard Place."

I hate the key art for this production. It looks like cheap clip art. James McMullan could’ve painted a beautiful lantern where “Floyd Collins” was somehow written in the filament. Or paintings of a cave - so many options and we got cheap ass clip art. Is Gardens of Anuncia the end of an LCT era? McNeal and Vanya had bad art too.

McMullan was hit and miss. His work also translates very badly in digital advertising. I thought his CAMELOT was atrocious...this understated image is at least better than that.
The new regime will no doubt make lots of changes and I'm sure improving/modernizing branding & communications is high on that list.

The brief promotional videos are doing their job.
I am waiting to hear from you folks seeing the first preview Thursday night. I am especially curious how this will be staged, as I’m wondering if I can get away with seeing this in the 100s or 500s, or even the loge, for a discount.

I was randomly in town this coming Thursday so I bought a ticket for the first preview. I am not very good at writing about art, but happy to give my thoughts on here on Friday if no one more eloquent is there to do it

Ha. You’re at least as qualified as I am. I don’t know where your seats are, but I am trying to get an idea of the staging. There’s a rather large discrepancy in price between the far side orchestra sections and the loge versus the premium orchestra seats. The former are tempting but they may be a bargain for a reason.
I appreciate any feedback on the first previews from anyone, as I’m trying to fit three or four shows into what may be just one remaining opening, or possibly two, in the second week of April. Tough decisions…

I’m CTR/LT ORCHESTRA Row N, Seat 213. I’ll for sure report back on the staging and sight lines

It's a fairly small, simple show design wise, so I'm very curious to see if this gets the usual LCT treatment or if they go minimal.

Same thought I had. Very curious to see how much of the stage they end up using for this.

Looks like the originally scheduled first preview is now cancelled; now begins March 28.

And let the deluge of unfounded comments about the production "being in trouble" begin...

It’s prob either tech (like Just in Time apparently), illness or maybe they can say tariffs (like Mincemeat).
Disappointed as I was looking forward to this & LincTix will be tough to come by now.

I just got an email saying it’s cancelled. Sucks as this was the only time I was going to be able to see it

Given our discussion yesterday, I did think of you first. I’m sorry about that.
