Found this pic from F 11. I have a hard time believing that A 1-3 or A 2-4 are actually partial view. Further over, sure, but I can't imagine it's any significant obstruction close to the center aisle. I'm guessing it's comparable to the front row side seats at The Music Man:
Thanks for this. Someone was asking about partial view seats in the other thread and unfortunately the question got drowned out by the anti-Beanie brigade. I’m planning to surprise my mom with tix for Mother’s Day, would love to treat her with the front row since she just recovered from major surgery, but probably can’t afford center (who can these days?) I agree that row A side seats seem fine, but if anyone who went to the first preview (or is going in the coming days and can report back here later) can shed some light on the staging, it would be much appreciated.

This is Orchestra Center, Row W. FUNNY GIRL uses 2 staircases at each side of the stage of its set design so anything taking place at the top of them will be missed.
I'm also in Row X and I don't think we'll be able to change because it's a well-sold performance and we're a group of 4, but how much does happen on those staircases and at the top of them?
Finally won the lottery for 6/9 and my seats were center Orchestra row V 109-110. Excellent spot for lottery seating. Julie Benko was performing and her singing was top notch! Loved the show.
I won the lottery about two weeks ago and was placed in Orchestra N18. I was really happy with the seat - the only time I missed anything were the rare moments that somebody was on the stage left staircase. Other than that it felt completely full view.
UPDATE: I was in orchestra row V seat 13. I actually added a photo from that seat to the website “A View From My Seat”. It was not bad at all, only was nervous if someone taller was in front of me-thankfully that wasn’t the case last night.
I believe the seats in the first few rows of the side orchestra go all the way against the wall, so does anyone know which is the first row in the side orchestra that has access to the far side aisle?

How much is the box office rush?"
Will they still do the rush when Lea Michele joins the cast? Would it be better to just buy a ticket to secure your spot in case it sells out or wait and do the rush.
I'm dredging up this thread because I'm considering Funny Girl on an upcoming trip. For the $222 seats (sigh), what do you consider the best option? How close is too close, given that the seats are on the side orchestra, and often near the far edge? I wouldn't want obstructed view seats, even if they're not listed as such.
If you look at A View From My Seat the far side orchestra seats further back aren't obstructed. It is the far side seats in the closer rows that they are selling for $167 where some hanging speakers block some views.
I sat front mezzanine for $210 when I saw this last July and it was good, but the same seat is now is over $100 more.
But Row E mezz is still only $222, and for example Wednesday, March 15 8pm has aisle seats Row E either Left seats 1 & 3 or Rights seats 2 & 4 available. I like aisle seat if I can get them and, I think mezzanine is better than sitting far back in the Orch under the overhang.
