Someone from Seat Geek just emailed about my Sunday tickets. She said they can't guarantee a refund. I hope more shows do not go with Seat Geek for their ticketing. If we can't get a refund I will be contacting Jujamcyn to let them know how I feel.

For those interested, Jane Lynch said on “The View” today that she will be with the show through September (although that’s obviously subject to change)

Hello, Gorgeous!"
I saw Jeremiah as El Gallo in THE FANTASTICKS several times. He was very good.

My friend’s refund was approved for Tuesday, so I think you’ll be okay.

It's a 10-day paid vacation. Would you prefer to see a photo of him curled up in a ball and weeping??
Oh dear, I purchased tickets a couple of days ago for tomorrow night's performance and was very much looking forward to seeing Ramin Karimloo, but unfortunately he is out sick.
Anyone going tonight to see Julie Benko?

What is he supposed to do, post from his hospital bed? He's arguably in better shape than all of us, and he's vaccinated. Probably happy it's (hopefully) asymptomatic.
Can he at least post it shirtless? Gee Whiz.

If you are looking to exchange tickets I called the customer service number at Jujamcyn Theaters - (212) 840-0479 and they exchanged mine. It took about 15 to 20 minutes but was pretty effortless.
I chatted online with SeatGeek yesterday for quite a while to request a refund for my upcoming Tuesday night seat, and they said they would get back to me via email with an update. A few hours later, I received an email with a link to fill out a form to request a refund. This morning, I received a follow-up email stating that my refund would be processed in 10-14 business days.
For those of you who exchanged seats, did they offer to honor any promo codes you had used for the original purchase? I won't be able to get back to see this until September, and there isn't a code that works that far out at this time. I supposed if they would have given me the same seat at the same price for September, I almost should have just exchanged my ticket instead of requesting a refund.

Funny Girl is currently up at TKTS, 50% = $143.00. They must be putting the premium seat up for discount 😡

I’ve used that booth since October 1979. I’ve been through 9/11, 2 brutal hurricanes, mutilpe blizzards (Chorus Line, available), a flooding superstorm, and a terrorist attack in Times Square. I’ve bought Tony Voter seats at half hour (Porgy and Bess), opening night seats (Mary Tyler Moore in Who’s Life). This moment - $143 per ticket to see two covers - is a new marker.
“Ladies and gentlemen, at tonight’s performance, the role of Fanny Brice will be performed by Julie Benko. Thank you, and enjoy the show.”
My cousin saw FUNNY GIRL this week and she said they LOVED it. She said the audience adored it.... they left the theater happy and smiling. Then they sang the tunes all the way home.
They want to see CHICAGO with Pam Anderson and JERSEY BOYS... is that even still going strong?
Did they see the show or just drive past it?

There was a photo of her on my FB page. She looked great and the 'person' said she was 'great and had a very powerful voice'. That was all that was said.
PS Don't know how to save/post/send but am sure there will be stuff here very soon.

Thanks for asking.... they drove past the theater a few days later on their way for dinner at Estiatorio Milos in the Hudson Yards. They also on that day got tickets for a few other shows and tickets to FUNNY GIRL for their neighbors. They are excited.
I am so happy FUNNY GIRL is thriving.

The Greater Star - Julie Benko as Fannny!

When are you seeing it? I suggest seeing it this weekend based on all the raves that Julie Benko is receiving! Julie as Fanny is the ''Greater Star'' - We are going tomorrow even though we have tickets later in May but we probably will not want to see the weaker Fanny - Beanie Feldstein.

I am seeing it in July. I do not care who plays Fanny. Stronger or weaker, makes no difference to me at all. The spirit of the revival and the joy of the show will be exciting.
I create haikus when I look forward to something wonderful:
Funny Girl is great
Even though I have to wait
Beanie is a thrill
