Movie: The first one I 'really' remember is "A Chorus Line", I was about 10 or 11. Live: A regional, German production of "My Fair Lady" when I was 13. It was the dress rehershal with some breaks for stage directions and stuff, still I loved it. First 'big' production: Starlight Express in Bochum.(In Germany there's nothing like Broadway or West End, a center, but the (Hit-)Muscials are playing in theatres spread all over the country. Actually ever big city has it's "own" musical) West End: Wicked.
Movie - Not sure, probably Beauty and the Beast Live - Madame Butterfly, I was like 8 or 9, went of my own free will, and stayed awake. (w/o supertitles) Live (Musical)- Jane Eyre Broadway - Mary Poppins (01/07)
I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!
Movie: Annie when I was 5, along with the Disney animated musicals when I was 4. Broadway: Beauty and the Beast when I was 6. Show that got me hooked: Kiss Me, Kate when I was 10. Updated On: 10/22/06 at 01:52 PM
Movie: almost positive it was The Wizard of Oz; I think I've been watching it since forever.
Local: when I was three I saw my next-door neighbor in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at Quakertown High School in Quakertown, PA. We don't live there anymore, but I still remember that production!
Tour: The Wizard of Oz in Baltimore, MD, perhaps the Lyric Operahouse. My mom, my neighbor, his mom, and I were in the balcony.
Broadway: Les Miserables, the January before it closed. What an amazing production to see for my first Broadway show! I just recently started realizing that I was seeing some of the cast from that show in other casts - Joberg and Kevin Kern in The Wedding Singer, and I just gleefully met Aymee Garcia at the Flea Market, who was my Mme. Thenardier.
"No, this is the touch of class, not the touch of what you just said."
-The Wedding Singer
"Its like my mother always used to say, whenever you hear a strange and possible life-threatening noise coming from the dark woods outide, there is only one thing you should do. Dont tell any of the others and go invsetigate it alone."
All the men in my life keep getting killed by Candarian demons, all my college boyfriends and my one night stands, my male co-workers and platonic gay friends (HEY)."
-EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL
Broadway: Phantom of the Opera ( I think I was 7) Movie: The Little Mermaid
"For example, if I should paint my fingernails green -
and it just so happens I do paint them green. Well, if anyone should ask me why, I say: 'I think it's pretty!'"
