Okay finally caught up to see what we were talking about.
Shub-yeah, tell me about it, what is your average? I think mine must be a 75...I got a 67 and a 68. I'm in a bowling league where my handicap is over 100, and I've gotten as high as a 95 and as low as a 34, it's quite amusing.
It's interesting you all say the movie audiences were dead silent--I see why you're saying that but I have to totally disagree with you. From Without You until the end of the film all I heard were people very loudly bawling over many silent moments in the movie--definitely a good thing that so many people were moved. Both times I saw it, Angel's entrance got applause, the 2nd time in a real movie theatre, the start of the movie got applause and in the Symphony Space screening I think the end of Over the Moon and La Vie Boheme got applause.
Oh, and Fredi, I was watching you just the other day...came across a clip of the OBC(seems to be minus Taye couldn't find him) on Jay Leno back in '96 singing SoL and a little bit of Rent. Of course I was bouncing and smiling as I watched but some select moments got big squeaks out of me...the first one came for seeing Adam back in the plaid pants, and the second one was OMG, there's Fredi!! hehe, you guys did a great job, really glad I got to see that.

Oh God, my average is like a 26. The highest score I got tonight was a 51. I don't even know how bowling gets scored. I just roll the ball down the alley.
Well guys I'm getting up early to see RENT again and I need to finish the scarf I'm knitting for Jesse, so I think I'll be going. It was so fun talking to you all, hope to talk to you again soon, Fredi!!!!! And if you have a second please PM or email me with info about your master classes :)

"Kali, why is Roger on a cliff?"
"Because the cliff is love, Rachel."
"Oh."
Wait I'm confused--we started talking about bowling? Fredi you bowl? We MUST bowl together in that case. I'm sure this post has absolutely nothing to do with anything, but I'm in a random mood like that.
Buy her a first-class plane ticket and set her up at a posh hotel, naturally. Then provide her with a cozy armchair and smoking jacket in the classroom so she can give her lectures in absolute comfort. There should be a roaring fire, naturally.
detailed backstory can be helpful - but it's really the writer's job... if the writer does it good enough (like Jonathan did) there will only be a few things you need to justify...
We filled in a few blanks for ourselves, but he did all the realy work (and gave us written backstories to work from)
BTW - how's the voce?

"Yeah - painful for the STUPID not the rest of us!"

Hmmm... well, my school WILL be raking in some decent funds this year. We're doing A Christmas Carol and Beauty and the Beast(school matinees already sold out for both) to make up for the not-so-great profit of doing Chess last year.
Aww Shub, I feel better lol! Funny that "alley's" in your name
Ooh, and on like page 8 ppl were talking a lot about Jonathan and the show and the meaning and documentaries and all that stuff so sorry to go back a bit but I had this to add...
In mid-March, I had the joy of going down to the Rent set in NYC to see what ended up being the first little bit of the movie after SoL, really cool to see on the street but anyway...
It was in Chinatown I believe, so I had an idea of the streets, but didn't know exactly, figured I'd wander and all the equipment and lights wouldn't be hard to find. Suddenly I got to something that was so appropriate but wedll I had no idea where it was located so was shocked to find it...The moondance diner!!
I just kinda paused and froze...finally went in, saw the counter and stuff, recognized it from Broadway: The American Musical. People asked if they could help me and looked really confused when I explained that Jonathan used to work there and I just wanted to look around, but they let me do so none the less. I was in there maybe 5 minutes, walked over to the tables and looked at the windows, and especially the counters where I saw him in the documentary and imagined him there and...wow, it was just an experience. I walked out of there bawling, it just felt like...I don't know I can't explain it. I'm so glad I went in for a bit, it was definitely an emotional moment for me.

Yes, but haven't done it for awhile. I want them to send me to the Walter Kerr to see Doubt, but they always send me to the Hirschfeld. If Britney goes into Charity (and it doesn't move to the Ford), I don't want to have to see the show too many times.
