lara2 - no i don't mind
but the name is Fredi Walker-Browne now... I wouldn't mind that being updated, if it's not too much trouble...
Isn't it supposed to be "power, feeling", but WJH always reversed it?

Oh thanks, broadwaystar. You don't even know how much that confused me before....
Did anyone notice that random guy playing with Anthony's hair when they were cradling him in LVB? He's officially my favorite ensemble member.

Fizz, starving artist lifestyle is really **** or bust. I did it/am doing it, and I actually enjoy it. I am giving everything up for my craft and to me it feels refreshing, I have always been a minimalist though. Like it has been said, if you love your craft, do it, but be prepared. I wish you luck with this =)

Shubbie..
how do people meet? I mean - JoAnne's a PD - she obviously has a bit of the boheim in her...
She'd find herself hanging out in girl/bars, going to performance art, clubs, the whole nine...
they could have met anywhere.
I mean - you live here - you know how it is... you can meet anybody here - in the most unexpected places.

In the OBCR booklet is says "feeling, power", the same way the Wilson sings it on that recording.
Anyone else see Adam's MUTE poster in the loft?
Of course, but I was wondering if you'd thought of a specific backstory for it. Like maybe if Maureen hit someone with a microphone during one of her performances and the person hired Joanne to defend him, and she fell in love with Maureen in court...

Thanks :) I'm a minimalist for the most part, so it works for me. I never really see any point to spending lots of money on things I won't need. And I'm one of the most determined people there is- I'll find a way to keep going :) Even if its mooching off my awesome writer girlfriend.
Wait, she'll be a starving artist too... crap. Oh well.
In the Rent bible it says "power, feeling" though...hmm.

re: stupid people at RENT...
i'm sure that people walked out when the boys kissed... i heard about it - though never saw it...
no yelling and all that but - I'm most proud of the ones who came in very conservative and uptight but out-and-out bawled when Angel dies...
enabling everyone to see themselves inside the delicacy of the human condition is one of the greatest things about this work.
Sure Fredi, no problem. It's done!

That was absolutely the guy next to me. He was a mess....
I knew it was coming and I was still a mess. I think I started crying somewhere around Without You and didn't stop till the credits started rolling.
On a side note, I've never in all my life heard a movie theatre so dead silent. Everyone was completely enthralled in the movie.

Where I was, the Angel/Collins kiss was followed by a collective gasp and subsequent giggles and whispers..but the theater remained very full.
In parking lots!
CJR - Totally agreed - you could have heard a pin drop. The only similar moment I've seen was in Return of the King when Pippin sings to Denethor. It's so amazing when that happens.

when things like that happen, it makes me truly proud of theatre

I don't know how people can come see RENT and not cry.....the first time my mom saw the movie she started crying during Glory and didn't stop til the end. I always cry during Life Support...

So true CJR!! I've seen it twice now and both times the very end of the movie with Angel's final frame was meet with complete silence until the credits rolled

I cried during Seasons of Love..I'm such a loser!
edit: I also experienced complete silence during the blank screen before the credits. It was really refreshing.
