Well, there's a line in Ugg-A-Wugg that goes "We'll be true blood brothers to the end" so my guess is they're playing it safe as somebody else said a few posts back so as not to incur cries of racism.
I was looking through the song list linked above and noticed they're using "When I Went Home." Wow! It's a gorgeous Moose Charlap ballad for Peter that was cut in previews for being too sad and was replaced by Jule Styne's Distant Melody, another lovely song which is also listed. As far as I know, it's never been used in the show since it was it was first cut. It's on one of Bruce Kimmel's Lost in Boston albums.

Also, in the same act, I notice a song called "Blood Brothers" which I don't remember. I wonder if it could be another cut song or more likely a rewrite of "Ugg-a-Wugg," which occurs in the same place in the original show's song list and has "blood brothers" in the lyric (as mentioned above). In the DVD of Rigby's version, "Ugg-a-Wugg" is done as a big dance number without lyrics, which is what I suspect "Blood Brothers" will turn out to be.

Please tell me the colors wont be as disgustingly over saturated on the actual broadcast

The Lost Boys costumes look like they're leftover from Spring Awakening.
I recall the SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! promos having a similar aesthetic but the actual show had much better coloring.

Some new material and songs will be added to the show. They also did not want to waste Kelli O'Hara's talents. I certainly don't blame them.
“Truth of the matter is, [we] have one of the greatest talents in musical theater working today,” Meron said. “We’d be fools not to take advantage of her great talent. We don’t like to think of ourselves as fools. There are a couple of musical surprises from Kelli, bits and pieces throughout the show.”
All about the new songs in 'Peter Pan Live!' -- and how the show's handling 'Ugg-a-Wugg'
I thought they were doing Peter Pan? Why choose the piece if they feel they need to make so many changes? I'm disappointed.

I don't see anything wrong with the changes they're talking about, though. The show is still Peter Pan, with some new/re-added material (I can't wait for "When I Went Home"!) and changes made to reflect the show being done in 2014.
The fact that they added BACK a Moose Charlap/Carolyn Leigh number makes this a win in my book. And despite the fact that they are they are rewriting "Ugg-a-Wugg" with the help of a Native-American consultant, giving Christopher Walken an entrance number adapted from a song from Do-Re-Mi (not just interpolated but adapted, giving Wendy a ballad also adapted from that show--with Mrs. Darling getting a reprise of it (plus other litle things for Kelli O'Hara to do!), giving Peter an introspective song and cutting “Oh My Mysterious Lady"...
...somehow, it all sounds terrific.
Peter Pan had always been a classic musical on reputation, not on material itself.
There has been no canonical edition of the text and score, and things changed frequently over the years. Perhaps this revisal will stick, perhaps it will be forgotten material wise. I am most curious about Hook's new songs- will they be melodic or sprechstimme like his songs in the standard edition?
It all sounds unnecessary but that's me.
Remember, Cats, that it was pieced together before, and Moose Charlap and Carolyn Leigh couldn't have been too happy when Betty and Adolph and Jule were brought in.
So it sounds like this revision has been done with a lot of sensitivity and taste.
Honestly it wasn't that strong a property to begin with. As darquegk says, it's been hoisted by its reputation and the fact that everyone's seen it a hundred times.
I'm all for making it a little more interesting. Frankly I fell asleep when I tried to watch the 1960 broadcast recently.

I was very impressed by what David Chase did to the Cinderella score. I cannot wait to see what they have done for Pan. I've always thought the show was lacking a ballad for Wendy, I cannot wait to hear the new number. Like RNHs Cinderella, this is the one show that can be updated every 10-15 years and still feel timeless.

Revising, updating, and adding things to an existing show for subsequent productions is kind of a staple of theater, so it's not surprising at all (nor should it be) that this new production of "Pan" will feature new or revised material.
I'm really interested in seeing how this new material is incorporated into the show as it exists.

Another promo! This time with a short clip of Vengeance and Neverland.
I don't care for Alison's vocals on I Won't Grow Up, but I do like how she sounds on Neverland.

Christopher Walken as Hook is just the right amount if deliciously ridiculousness

I can't quite put my finger on it. Something about the clip we have just sounds really forced, vocally? I'm not sure if she's trying to sing too low or if it's the accent that feels off, it just doesn't click with me. But on Neverland she sounds lovely!

I think Allison sounds amazing and the sets look like pure MAGIC. The only thing that caught my eye was Walken's costume. Doesn't look as slick as it does in the promo posters. But, that footage was probably taken who knows how long ago and maybe his costume will be more completed when the broadcast arrives. I'm even more excited for this then I was for Sound of Music, and I'm not familiar with either leads and I've only seen the televised performance of Rigby's Pan once or twice. I think she sounds good in Neverland, however in both Neverland and I Wont Grow Up, I felt as if she was singing for the promo rather than singing as Peter. I'm hoping that when she's acting the role fully, it will come off more naturally rather than as a performance.
Will they be releasing a cast album (or would the proper term be TV Cast Soundtrack) for this one? Anyone know?
Supposedly it will be on the Masterworks Broadway label, but I haven't seen anything official other than the castalbums.org entry.
