This has to be the stupidest post of all time.

I want Amy Morton, I want Carrie Coon and above all else I want Catherine O'Hara as Shelly Levine and I want it NOW.
I’m assuming Patti is attached to the recast as she’s been talking about this for years…

Burr said on Jimmy Fallon that the current cast extended to June 28.
I also liked this line: "People say 'Oh, it's just previews.' But people paid to see it, so it's gotta be good, right?"

I feel like this isn't going to actually happen and is just lip service to distract from Mamet's MAGA affiliations..."
Have there been explicit indications of his specifically demonstrating MAGA affiliations? I know he's been "out" as a right-winger for a long time. To be clear, I'm not interested in spending my limited theater-going dollars on his work, but I hadn't heard of his MAGA affiliations.

He has expressly and consistently supported Trump (even describing him as the best president since Lincoln), been wishy-washy on whether he thinks the 2020 election was legitimate, and supported things like Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill.

Disgusting.
Yeah, unlike Nick Jonas's single weird tweet, this is entirely inarguable and unambiguous.

Wow. Just, wow. Doesn't it seem like this has all been under-reported?
Which is odd since this very play is as left as you can get.
Mamet reminds me of Jon Voight. A leftist back then but shifted very hard right as they went older.
I would call this the "Definitive" production of Glengarry Glen Ross.
The ensemble was tight and it was thoroughly entertaining - and funny. Mamet's affected dialogue really came to life. Bill Burr was perfection as the loudmouth scheming Moss. He got a round of applause from the audience at the end of Act 1 and at his exit in Act 2. The applause didn't bother me (I admit, I joined in) because you could feel the swell of glowing admiration for "a job well done" in those moments. With so much of the cast well-known for their other work it was no surprise that the audience was rooting for them too.
I'm glad we were up close in the third row in order to catch Michael McKean's wordless facial reactions and expressions. Kieran Culkin was fun to watch as he jumped about in super high energy mode. Bob Odenkirk played on our heartstrings, coming across like a battered Saul Goodman.
In addition to being an overall great production, the cast was super friendly at the stage door after yesterday's matinee. I had befriended John Pirruccello, who played the hapless mark Lengk, on Instagram and he was very kind to me as he personalized my playbill.
For the past year, I battled breast cancer and I am happy to say I am in remission. Yesterday was my Cancer is Gone party, which I decided to celebrate taking in a show with my husband, daughter and son-in-law. Missed you Broadway! Glad to be back!
Welcome Back, Sally!
Kieran's pretty much gonna win the Tony soon, I fear.
I don’t think Culkin’s winning. Even if he has the plum part, I see more and more people saying Burr’s the standout.
Though right now I have Conrad Ricamora winning, but that’s a different show and different subject.

I could see Kieran getting nominated for Lead Actor, iffy that he'd win (are Jake and Denzel in this category too?). But, I think Bill Burr is a lock for the win as Featured Actor.
***THANK YOU everyone for your kind thoughts! I missed you.
Jack Shepherd won an Olivier as a lead actor for playing Roma, but the part is largely categorized as a supporting role. If Culkin did go lead, I can’t see him winning, though not because of the Othello men, I have Cole Escola winning. Gyllenhaal could maybe be a threat, but I think he’d need a stronger production to win, and I think Denzel’s going to be snubbed again.
I would think Culkin would compete in Featured Actor, but if all the buzz for Burr continues and it looks like he could win, maybe the team will submit Culkin and Odenkirk (for another role recognized in lead at the Oliviers) as leads to open things up for him.
Like I said, I’m still predicting Ricamora in this category, but I love Burr and would love to see him get his flowers as an actor.
Life is hard and times are bad, but on the other hand we live in a world where seven or eight of the biggest A-listers in Film and Television are competing for the best actor in a play tony, and there is a very real chance that they will all be beaten out by Cole F**king Escola in a stupid wig. This is the joy I need on tough days.

Even with all the heavy-hitters and A-Listers, it's still Cole's to lose.

I don't see a world where Cole Escola doesn't walk away with the Tony Award for Best Play AND Best Actor. This is one of those "once in a generation" situations where it's a juggernaut.
Of course, I may end up eating my words.
Sometimes the Tonys like to spread the love a bit. I see Cole winning actor and Purpose winning play.
I hope David Mamet reads online forums to see a discussion of his show turn into one about Oh Mary instead
What does everyone think the odds are of Glengarry winning Best Revival?

We'd guess Glengarry or Eureka Day for the win.
