Please be sure to report back on the quality of the show.
LOL! Sorry, but to see the word quality associated with this production made me laugh out loud.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

"Love the art in you, not yourself in the art." --Konstantin Stanislavsky
I knew it wouldn't be long until you answered WonderfulWizard! Anyway, I don't need to see this one. I'll let you tell us how wonderful it is when you see it.

Technically tonight in the east coast. I'm sure it'll be at least a very energetic production even with the subpart material. I'm quite interested to see how Jenny Powers fares as Rizzo more than the two reality TV show kids.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Oh, I won't be going. I'm not too fond of Grease, good production or not.

"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."
-Kad
"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
-bjh2114 (on Michael Riedel)
Guydancer- I was there tonight too and I agree. Though it was very fun, there is still a lot of work to do, but the entire company is very talented!
"But I relish every brillant inspired moment. This is who I'm determined to be- an actor/singer/dancer-no, I take that back, this is who I am. These people are my tribe, my destiny. I know it.
-How I Paid for College; A story of sex, theft, friendship and musical theater.
And that's the #1 reason why I have my tickets for next week.
Too bad the gypsy run is a complete deception of the cast. It's all their friends, family...of course they're gonna like it. Who knows that a real audience would think?

i have say, right now the performances aren't really the problem...it's more about the staging and choreography, and how to make the numbers a little more exciting(which is why they have previews)...i think once max and laura become more comfortable, their performances will rise up to the level of some of the other more experienced cast members
choreo. and staging are a bit uninspired ...the big number at the end(you're the one that i want) has too much movement for danny and sandy while they're trying to sing. plus, there seems to be very little chemistry between the two. but that could be, because they were running around, jumping off counters, and spinning on stools, while trying to hit their marks and look like they're "into each other". i was exhausted for them after the number
