You guys think that I'm the one producing this thing, and rooting for the show. Thats not the case! I have just been telling you people whats gonna happen, and everybody has a heart attack like its an awful thing the producers want to keep their critically acclaimed show open, and wait for the spring. They are probably loaded as **** anyway. Yes, they can make it to the Tonys. If they don't get a nomination, then they will post closing. It is literally the same exact thing that is happening over at On The Town. Both critically acclaimed shows that are losing a lot of money. Both waiting for the Spring. Except people like to slam Honeymoon for some reason, and not OTT

well people think its gonna close any second now! nooooooooooo. When will they listen to me? Im talking to people who said the show would have been closed already. They are a joke!! And then look at me like I'm crazy

Pinto, you are the one who is not listening. It is nothing to be proud of to keep a show open beyond its sell-by date. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But if it does it is stupid that it did. Where is the joy in promoting stupidity?

No one has given an exact date of when they think Honeymoon will close by. Just that at the rate it's going, it's untenable to keep it running- and definitely to keep it running till June.

and im not saying June, I'm saying by nominations. Late April. They will get a best musical nomination. They already know they aren't going to win. Thats just a given

Pinto, I do not know a single person in this business, and that includes producers of Honeymoon (some of whom are likely to sue after this is over), who doesn't think the crazies with their hand on the tiller at Honeymoon are not stupid. None. Zero. Zip. And there is only one person on this website who has agreed with you, is there? Maybe just maybe it is time to stop being stubborn and wake up and smell the coffee. It makes me sad they you feel backed into a corner; unless you are just a troll.

Hogan, what are you talking about? I keep repeating myself and you do not listen!!!! I am just telling you whats going to happen!!! Ive said it several times already, i haven't even seen the show yet! I could have seen it over winter break, but decided not to because i wanted to see it open, plus there were better things to see. So when you say things like "Maybe just maybe it is time to stop being stubborn and wake up and smell the coffee." What are you talking about???

Philly, it's that you keep saying things like "I'm telling you what's going to happen. It's going to stay open." as if what you think is fact. If you said "I think they'll keep it open until nominations." People wouldn't be coming at you so much. It's bit arrogant to say you know exactly what is going to happen with this particular show which you have no hand in producing. When others say "it's going to close soon" they are speaking from experience. When shows have numbers as bad as Honeymoon, they don't stay open long.

And plus, Brynn omalley tweeted something saying that they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. The fact that people keeping saying that the show will close soon is a bit stubborn

The only person more upset then the cast, creative and backers about the abject failure of Honeymoon is Ben Brantley.

They told him he would be the most powerful man on Broadway.
