"You guys think that I'm the one producing this thing"
Nobody thinks that, Phillypinto. I promise you.

What is your insistence at being "right"? What will that prove? You have a 50/50 chance to be correct: either they'll stay open till noms or they won't. Why is it all so fired important that your "insight" is the right one?
You keep saying OPINION....that's all you have, either. Your OPINION.
No one here (but you) is saying what WILL happen, only what they think SHOULD happen.

Wow, you know all of the producers? How cool!
The fact of the matter is that the show is doing terrible. If the producers know they have no chance at winning Best Musical, I don't know why they would bother staying open. Just being nominated does little to nothing for most shows.

Not only will the nomination(s) not do enough to boost sales, but I think the likelihood of Honeymoon in Vegas being nominated is quite slim... It's limping to the finish line while many other shows will be opening at the right time with enough timely buzz to push Honeymoon right out of contention.

Oh please! It WILL be nominated.

Posted: 2/26/15 at 10:52pmPhillypinto, how do you know ALL of the producers? And also that is basically saying you know Tony Danza too since he is also producing the show.

"Listen to me! Listen to me!'
It's a cute sentiment coming from "Young Alison" or a child. Not so much from someone that wants to be (and should be) an adult. You sound like an idiot.
Actors tweeting that they aren't going anywhere, or even producers saying it doesn't mean squat. We've seen sentiment like that happen on a Tuesday, and the closing notice goes out on Wednesday.
Again, none of us are saying they WON'T stay open, just that its incredibly stupid to do so. I don't care how much money they have, losing it hand over fist isn't fun or smart.
(Note: hysterical, too, is that you champion a show that you haven't seen as well as one you passed over for something else. {tha

LOL it makes me laugh that you guys take the time out of your days to talk about me like this...wow hahahah
Honeymoon is better than most of the shows coming in anyway so I'm sure it will be nominated...i think people just think the show is a tacky joke, and not a great musical comedy, especially since people barely care about reviews anymore

You haven't seen the show, how would you know?
Oh and for the record, it didn't receive "rave reviews" either, sweetie.

Hm....gee imagine "discussing" things on a discussion board. What a concept. And thus this brings us to the crux of the proplem: you don't want to discuss, you want to be right.
Yes, they were hardly raves, but they were better then most expected.

n2nbaby - Phil doesn't need to see Honeymoon or the other shows coming this season - Phil knows all the Honeymoon producers and all the members of the nominating committee - Phil is "in the industry". He's even auditioned for roles.

I saw it at paper mill, just haven't seen the Broadway incarnation yet. I will in 2 weeks when I'm on break. and when did i ever say "rave reviews?" Actually i said "people barely care about reviews anymore."
