If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

All I know is that they were contacted and everything was settled. Maybe not in the same seats, but they had all the tickets they needed.

I'm not sure what the Hamilton Fan Sale is, but when I checked a random date for seats there are seats in the mezzanine and balcony that weren't available in the AmEx presale. They're listed as "Hamilton Fan Sale" and are $179/$199. Geez, by the time the general sale starts I hope there are some affordable seats left!
"Thank you for being one of the earliest online subscribers to the HAMILTON newsletter. As a token of appreciation, we would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase tickets for a new block of performances (1/31/17 - 5/21/17) before they are available to the general public.
To purchase tickets, please enter the unique 6-digit code provided to you in the "Offer Code" box."
Yes. But I don't know if we found out if it was for the same dates or not. This would be a nice solution for that problem since it's unlikely there were 35 seats left for any performances on prior dates . . . other than the High School tix
Edit: Yeah, interesting stuff, MyLife. Surprised no one posted here about this earlier.
I was one of the lucky people and snapped up a ticket on my Hamilton anniversary (the first time I saw it at the Public). It literally took 5 minutes and I got an aisle on Row C of the Front Mezz. You're limited up to four (4) tickets and you can only use the code once and for on performance.
Same price as I got for my box seat during last Thanksgiving so I'm not complaining about the price.
Actually not so smart. How are they determining this? Similar to the select ones who received news/texts that there were tix for sale that night for a brief hour when producers/ticketmaster recalled the seats from Oct - Jan that were beyond the limit?
I mean, hey, I 'm a fan! Been 5x, follow everyone on Twitter, and so on. But it's true, by the time I heard about it being 'great' and at the Public, it was all sold out.
Sounds like ti was the first X number of people who signed up for the fan newsletter months ago. Maybe they thought those would be fans or people who would want tickets but couldn't get. It's definitely not scalpers, that's for sure - so I think it's pretty smart.
I didn't get one of these codes but my friend's came this morning at around 9.
I signed up for the Hamilton emails months ago (I think last summer). I got the email with the fan offer this morning and just snagged 4 greats seats, row C, center mezzanine for a Wednesday night, 199 each. I'm beyond happy and I think it's a great gesture by the producers. This will be our first time seeing it.
I'm desparate for tickets -- haven't had luck so far -- and won't be available this Sunday night for the general release, after which I'm sure there will be nothing left under $850. I've been on the mailing list for over a year, but haven't received an email. If you have a fan presale code you're not using, I'd be happy to pay for it, however much you think is fair. Please PM me. Thanks!
LOL.....I was going to say the same thing: feel free to PM me if any one has a code that will go to waste!
